This is an incredible place to stay. They're currently doing some renovations (December 2022) that will only compliment this incredible and historic stay. Highly recommend! The stream heating is awesome!

Lovely stay here while visiting the Glenwood Springs and Iron Mountain hot springs. Perfect location for dinners in town (make reservations if you can!) as well. The hotel is historic and it is super interesting to wander the halls and soak it in. It isn’t perfect (the sound-proofing and bathrooms could use an upgrade) nor particularly modern - but it’s very charming and has earned its place in history. I thought it was a good value for money as well.

I might avoid the restaurant next time - the staff were lovely, but there is better and cheaper fare across the walking bridge in town.

All the staff we encountered were very kind and helpful - in particular, Angel at the front desk and Thomas, the shuttle manager who got us safely to our bus stop so we could travel on. Thank you for a great stay!

Very good hotel to stay and really like it. Unfortunately, they are still renovated, and you have certain rooms and floors that are not available. I wanted to stay in the Roosevelt room or Molly Browns but we could not at this time. Maybe next time when is done for sure. Great restaurant with good food. A little expensive, but good if your not willing to go downtown. Allot of history so stay and enjoy 😉

We loved the old charm and everyone was so nice. They are under construction, so they only had one working elevator, but we never had to wait more than a few minutes. They had a really big snow storm the night we arrived, and they had closed the bridge for a few hrs, but once we got to the Hotel Colorado we we're greeted by the nicest people to welcome us! We ate at the restaurant at the hotel 3 times and it was awesome...nice atmosphere and great food! We did the ski, swim, and stay package and had a ball with all the kids and grandkids, then relaxed in the hot springs. We will definitely go back!

Great place. I was told "$50 would be charged for incidentals, Then refunded upon checkout."In actuality, there were $50 in taxes, fees, and parking. (when I received my itemized bill) The desk clerk literally lied to my face when I could have been told the truth about the fees and been okay with it. Despite this, I still love this old hotel. I'm actually glad they added the two additional parking lots across from the entrance. They also have a new elevator. But, temporarily for remodeling contractors. You can still use the old elevator. Bit it's more fun to walk down the grand staircase. I didn't hear any construction noise on my stay.

Beautiful location yet not a very enjoyable stay. We stayed the 2nd to the 3rd and were notified at check in that there was construction. The noise hours were 8am to 5pm [which is understandable] we were never informed of the party that was going to be happening that blasted music until 11pm. We love to party and have fun but when all you hear is loud music over your TV it is not fun. We called the front desk and no option was given to us a simple " I will let the manager know" was the response. A lot of fees were added to the stay such a $50 hotel fee and $10 parking fee. There are other hotels that are much more enjoyable and relaxing to stay at.

This place is the perfect Vibe, especially around Christmas. Ashley at the bar is a wonderful bartender and definitely deserves a raise. I’ll keep coming here every winter until I die. Best hospitality is all of Glenwood!

This is an historic hotel that I am happy to have stayed at. This is the hotel where President Theodore Roosevelt stayed and ultimately, the teddy bear was conceived.
This is within walking (<5 min) distance to nearby hot springs, shopping, and dining. Looking forward to staying there again

This hotel is just story tale. Unheated entrance, old and dirty carpet along the hotel. The whole building ceilings are unprofessional remodel. The floors make noises all over the levels. Poor service and for the amount of money the kitchen staff cannot make the simplest dishes. The sink in the bathroom is loose, the fireplace still open and I cleaned, the window bedroom did not fully close and the pets allowed problem is out of control. To much money for what you receive.

Every year our family comes to hotel colorado to our annual vacation with my entire immediate family. There are 24 of us. Angel at the front desk was more than amazing!!! We really wanted the kids to know some of the history and ghost stories of this amazing hotel. Angel took time out of her day when she wasn’t working and came in specially for our family to take us on a personal tour. It was so fun! And the children thought it was such a special experience. The staff is amazing there and the history of the hotel is so interesting. I recommend hotel colorado for any special vacation ♥️♥️
