My husband and I stopped in for breakfast, and the place was packed. I ordered, and we went outside to wait… and wait. I watched people who had ordered after us be served, but I knew they were swamped, so waited some more. Finally after an hour, I went inside to pay for our drinks because we needed to get on the road. The owner was very apologetic that our order must have gotten lost, and all was good. The reason I’m giving this place five stars even though we never got to try the food ( which looked delicious!) is because my husband noticed today that the charge for our two lattes had been refunded to our credit card. I understand that mistakes happen, but I really appreciated the fact that the owner not only remembered our situation, but that she took the time to reimburse us for our drinks… that’s good customer service, and you don’t find it very often anymore. Looking forward to trying that bacon croissant next time we’re in Georgetown!

We only had a small sampling of what they've got to offer, but I was pleased. The biscuits and gravy were homemade (square shaped biscuits which I thought was cute) and quite tasty, my fiance had one of their breakfast burritos and he wouldn't stop telling me how good it was. We also got cheesecake with their homemade Merlot jam - just wow! They also have souvenirs and other goodies. We definitely plan on going back. 🙂

A little quaint coffee shop with heartier food (other than cookies and pastry) available. Distinctly local flavor.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. The soup was fresh and tasted completely homemade. The blt was super delicious as well. The inside was very hot, but the outdoor seating was very nice. I would return for a quick bite!

Had a wonderful meal here. The egg salad sandwich was incredibly fresh and a generous portion. The croissant and biscuits were very fresh and tasty. Excellent service as well, highly recommend!

My climbing partners and I stopped here after a long day of climbing l, and it was a delight to be here! This place has a nice homely vibe, and perfect Halloween decor (we went a few weeks before Halloween)

Some of the best coffee and baked goods in Georgetown. Beautiful creek-side seating. Great place to grab a quick lunch. Tons of unique home-made candies and other goods. The owner and chef really turn out some unique and delicious stuff here.

Charming spot with carefully crafted, flavorful dishes. I loved the happy banter in the kitchen, and felt very welcomed. The experience made jury duty a few blocks over just a bit more tolerable.

Mountain Mamas’ is the best restaurant in the area and it isn’t even close. If you want the feel of true home-style cooking with the charm of a mountain town frozen in time, you MUST prioritize this place! The servers were all prompt, personable and warm. The chef is top-tier - I had the best Ruben I’ve ever had in my life, all at the same lunch where my party ordered burritos and birria tacos. The range is unreal. They also have excellent pastries and pies, all nestled in an old house with a beautiful courtyard to eat it. Seriously - even if you’re not hungry I would prioritize a stop here.

A lovely must visit!! The bakery items are absolutely divine!! The homemade jams are delicious, and made in house. The hand made items sprinkled in, made by local artisans, are wonderful as well. However, the owner and staff make the business. A wonderfully friendly bunch!! This is the PERFECT place for your hubby to sir and enjoy a yummy piece of coffee cake while the girls shop!!
