As a barista, my view is a bit more on the detail side. The equipment was not clean. Grinder was dirty with thick old oil residue.
Service was ok. It was a busy morning. The barista never once smile or say anything courteous.
Drink quality is better then the big chain but not all that.
Average pricing.

My parents & I were going hiking up Mt. Royal and my wife isn't physically able to do that type of activity. I dropped my wife off at Abbey's Coffee and started out with a cafe mocha for both of us. Excellent coffee!! My wife gave excellent feedback about her 5 1/2 hour hangout at Abbey's (we are not as young as we were 28 years ago when we hiked Mt. Royal). She also had ice cream and a tea throughout the day and great service and great food/drinks. The owner was very friendly and helpful also.

Great service and drinks. Comfy shop with some really cool and unique coffee mugs which make for greet souvenirs.

This was the only place open in town when I was driving out after a weekend in mud season! Thank goodness because I needed some coffee. I wasn't a big fan of the iced coffee (you can tell when they keep it overnight) but everything else was awesome. Wishing I tried some of the baked goods, too.

I walked in one morning looking to grab some coffee and a quick bite for breakfast. I was delighted to see breakfast burritos on the menu and ordered an egg/potato/bacon/cheese burrito. However, I was extremely disappointed when I watched the barista reach into the freezer, pull out a frozen burrito, and throw it in the microwave for about 2 minutes. Can't speak to the espresso since I ordered a small drip coffee, which was run of the mill. But that plus the frozen burrito set me back $7. Really?!?
The shop looks clean and cozy, so I guess that's a plus, but let's be real, I could have just as easily gone down to the gas station and got the exact same thing for probably less than half the price.

Wish I had known the burritos were pre-made and reheated, smdh. Current review rating is too high.

Perhaps my favorite place to grab coffee here in Frisco aside from Rocky Mountain Coffee Roasters. However recently since Frisco has blown up so much and every season seems to be tourist season a majority of the outsiders seem to pack up Rocky Mountain Coffee Roasters which leaves Abbey's Coffee on the East side of Main Street fair game for the locals. Definitely the place to go if you care to enjoy a dirty chai latte and do the Summit Daily's Sunday Crossword Puzzle or to read a book Saturday afternoon after going on a morning hike.
Highly recommend this place. Great, affordable prices and a real local vibe that you can't get at many other coffee shops in Summit County!

Great coffee, quick easy, priced right, friendly staff, not sure what else more I can say. Good food choices, fresh and delicious. This is our go to morning spot while in Frisco.

London Fog and burrito made for a great brunch after hiking in the morning. Cute decor to match the comprehensive menu options.
