The Fox Den: No Waste Cafe & Roastery

I can’t get enough of this place! Decided to celebrate Earth Day a few days early by sipping a luscious iced lavender latte out of a reusable glass in the warm sunshine on their vibey patio ☀️ Here are a few of my reasons The Fox Den is my favorite coffee shop in Fort Collins: Their mission inspires me. Their owner, Patricia, inspires me to wholeheartedly chase after my dreams. The baristas I’ve met are down to earth, kind, and efficient. I could go on and on, obviously. Get out and try this place ASAP!

I’ve been here twice and had great service both times, great coffee, and now they even have breakfast burritos! It’s super cute inside too.

The Fox Den is an incredible place, such a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Their coffee is delicious (as are their pastries and other offerings). I absolutely love their no waste mission (and they make it easy with options to borrow a jar or BYO mug, or use one of the charming mugs they have on-hand if you're not taking it to go). Plus lots of fun events, and treats for dogs!

This is probably the coolest and best coffee shop I have ever been to! Friendly staff, wonderful drinks and food, and such a cool space. I love their message of no waste and hope that more cafes take a note from them in the future. It's inspiring to see a business do their part for our world, they're truly ahead of the game! So many vegan and vegetarian options, and oat milk is the default for their coffee drinks!

This has to be in my top 3 FoCo coffee shops. It’s no waste! You can’t beat that! They have a wall of mugs to choose from, or bring your own! I love their specialty lattes—very original. Last time I got one with spirulina in it, and loved how the earthiness blended with the espresso. There are several vegan options: the grilled cheese and soup, and every time I’ve been there, pastry options, too! Congrats, Fox Den, on a year in business!

A rejuvenating little corner of FoCo, and one of the best coffee/pastry shops I've been to...ever. Coffee is 12/10, and their espresso-based drinks are well crafted (not too sweet!). They have lots of unique (and amazing) flavors too! Sage, Lavender, Rosemary, and Vanilla. All milks are dairy free (oat, almond, soy), and you can also get bulk beans here to grind at home!

The decor is also so well done, which is much appreciated when using as an out-of-home office! There are a few tables to work at, great wifi, and great lighting. They also have some local artists / vendors that sell products here...plus a little clothes rack for reselling clothes and a secret library!

Overall just an incredible place, with such a cozy vibe and unique concept of zero waste. Plus staff is always so friendly! If you haven't been, you need to go. ~$5-6 for a latte, but I promise it's worth it, & you're contributing to an incredible shop working to make your morning coffee more eco-conscious.

Food: The morning glory muffin is absolutely killer, and the cinnamon roll is SO good.

Drink: Best lavender matcha I've ever had. Also love the lavender latte w/ oat milk!

Top notch! Fox Dens the best place to go for a casual convo or to read, work, or even catch some talented locals at the open mic nights (srsly had a great time and was not expecting to) They’ve done an outstanding job at creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that just brings warmth! Not to mention the coffee and food are amazing every time. Honestly if you choose Starbucks over this place you might as well keep pushing doors that say pull..

The barista was beyond patient and lovely (especially for being the day after Christmas) 11/10 experience!! Got some ground coffee for family and a lovely latte :)

Very fun coffee shop. The coffee was excellent. The barista used a blonde roast for my cortado and cappuccino this time and it was excellent 👌😊 I ended up buying the blonde roast to try for my aero press but I couldn't make it as good as she did. I will get the medium roast next time if they have it in.

I LOVE the Fox Den! I loved the coffee before my new meds stopped me from having coffee, but now I love their Matcha Lattes! It's even better that oat milk is the default milk offered, it's my favorite milk alternative and I love that it isn't upcharged like at every other cafe. They also support local artists and other businesses by having a small marketplace inside, and they have open mic nights every Thursday for performers. I'm hoping to bike over more often with spring coming soon!
