Such a gem!! I first heard about this place from the 2018 BA best 50 restaurants and made plans to visit since I work in the area. So wouldn’t you have it that it made the hot 10 so I quickly hurried over and was happy they got recognized for this achievement as the food is legit. I had their pork + fried egg sandwich and two cookies, chocolate chip and a tahini cookie. Everything was as expected for being an acclaimed restaurant. The pork was so flavorful and the egg, cheese and aioli with a nice crunch from the arugula. I briefly entered nirvana on the ensuing bite and woke up to an incoming email. Alas, work needs to be done but will savor every bite. Also, get the tahini cookie. It’s like peanut butter but maybe better. Maybe. So good!
Had this on a list of places to try. Had the in house smoked pork and perfect fried egg on in house baked roll. Some inside seating but nice front and back patio areas. Some parking. They are about to do some renovations so they will be closed. Check them on Facebook to see if open before heading down.
One of the best bloody Mary's I've ever had. The peach fennel salad was light and delicious. Cute and rather large outdoor sitting area. Also got the turmeric ginger tonic in hopes of counteracting the alcohol from the bloody mary. It was good, very earthy with turmeric being the strongest component.
My dad and I had never been here before but the kind host at Call explained everything. Super nice. I ordered the confit potato salad: very yummy!! My dad ordered the pork+fried egg: very good. Sadly there was no arugula. When we ordered, the guy who took our order didn’t know. After the food was served, he came out and apologized and gave us some sweets. It was so nice! The sweets were even more amazing than the savory food. I usually don’t expect much from café pastries but these were mind blowing. Amazing!! Loved this experience. Great food + great service.
Super yummy and super hip. The aebleskiver pastries are divine and the toasts are inventive. A little pricey and portions are small but that's honestly to be expected at a place like this Rino. Everything tasted fresh so I don't mind paying a premium for high quality ingredients and to support local businesses.
Good food. Above average. Not excellent by any means. Extremely slow service. We were here at 5pm on a Friday and it took 25 minutes to get a drink. Love the place but service was below par.
Recommended by family who love it, so went in for lunch with kids. The chicken salad sandwich was fine, but the avocado was way over-seasoned and I ended up not finishing my mushroom tartine because it wasn't a pleasant combination of flavors. The little donuts were good though, and the lime dessert with pomegranate was absolutely delicious. I think if I went in for coffee/pastries/bread I would have been really happy, but for spending nearly 50 dollars on lunch for 2 adults and a toddler, it was underwhelming. Service was very good and despite the small space, very accommodating to my family. If nearby, would definitely go in to pick up desserts or some bread, but unlikely for a full meal.
