Best Scones in town. The oversized beauties are enough to go with any coffee for a decent snack. Prices are below average and the service is exceptional.

I ate at Kawa today with a friend for lunch loved it! Their Italian Soda was delicious with lots of syrup flavors to choose. I got the raspberry one with cream. I had a country club bagel sandwich and it had the perfect amount of mayo sauce with great flavor. My friend had their "Picasso" bagel sandwich which had chicken and melted provolone. The bagels have a lot of flavor in them as well. The sandwiches are $6.50 which I think is a great price for the quality and taste. The sandwiches come with sides and I had the bacon coleslaw side. Best coleslaw I have ever had!
This was a cozy and relaxing family owned coffee shop which I would recommend to anyone. Can't wait to take friends and family here.

This place is a bit hard to find, but worth the search. There is a cozy feel, and everyone is so friendly! Love the breakfast burritos. I'm a chai drinker, and besides soy, you can also get it with my favorite....almond milk! There are rolls of paper with lots of crayons for kids, and a cozy living room-type area for relaxing. I'm a believer that a coffee place should be warm and friendly along with delicious food and drink, so it's now my fave place in town! (I only wish they were open on Sundays...but I guess it's family-run, and we all need time off!)

This coffee shop is kind of hidden, but very cute and cozy inside. I got a latte and some kind of baked bar (which was very tasty). I wish that I had not added a flavor to the latte because it ended up being too sweet, but that was my fault. It was a good snack while I waited for the Dept. of Revenue to hurry up.

I love this place! The food is great and the chai lattes are fantastic. Every time I've been there, the staff has been amazing and very friendly and the atmosphere is quaint, cozy and charming. I wish there was a Kawa in place of every Starbucks! They have a great selection of real made-to-order food like my fav pesto chicken sandwich on a bagel and reubens, as well as breakfast options. You won't be disappointed!

Best kept secret coffee spot in town. If you're reading this then go. You will not be dissapointed, I promise. Just go. Turn your phone off already and go. All the stuff you care about: quality, atmosphere, service, smell, whatever. It's all there. Sure the price is higher than a few of the others in town, but not by much. Just go already but please don't tell others. I don't want it to get overcrowded. : )

Was there a couple weekends ago. The sandwiches were all mayonnaise on a bagel but the coffee was pretty good. Their pet policy, however, is bogus, illegal, and dangerous for disabled service dog teams. Manager- or whoever answered the phone- refused to update the shop policy to fit legal health codes, and would rather tell actually disabled people to just never come back if they felt unsafe by the policy (and many of us do because our medical equipment has been attacked by "friendly" pets, as my last one was, and most of us don't have the tens of thousands of dollars to replace our service animals whenever that happens). Would have loved to continue giving this place my money but they'd rather hang up on me than learn about how they can better serve *all* their patrons without having to make any real sacrifices (and also better follow the law by maintaining proper/legislated food hygiene). Look forward to hearing back from the local health department regarding their re-education on the matter.

I went for the house coffee and it was so good ! I also got a smoothie. It was good too . We got veggy breakfast sandwiches . But I would suggest not to put the cream cheese in a bagel sandwich . The stuffing inside the bagel was slipping around while we were trying to eat . Coffee cake was good.

First found out about this place when I went to get my new license -- the DMV is in the same shopping center, and Kawa's sandwich board outside instantly drew me into their cafe. Turns out I live only walking distance away, too! Kudos to them, they are almost always open during snow days when other establishments are closed or have delayed openings. (I mean, everyone should use discretion and be safe, but I do like knowing I can slap on my boots and walk to their place for a snow-day latte.)

The staff is friendly and patient--almost every time I go in there I am dazed and confused from lack of caffeine and stare at the menu forever, but they are kind souls nd bear with me. They serve bagels from Old World Deli, which is the closet thing to a NY bagel I can get in this city, so I often get one of those. It's cozy and welcoming inside -- nice place to cozy up with a book and coffee for a couple of hours.

Came for coffee with a friend. The place is located in an odd place but worth seeking out. You can park in the front of the building and still walk right up but it’s hard to see. I had a latte and a scone and both were delicious. Very happy and relaxed atmosphere and a cozy place. Definitely recommend!
