Javalato Gelato & Cafe

Visiting Colorado Springs and found this place. Loved the food and the gelato was fantastic. Also tried the moon milk and it was so good, had never seen this on a menu. Also the owner was very attentive and even came out with a sample of the chili sauce that was on my dish to make sure it wasn't to spicy. Really like the attention to good service. Large menu with many options for the gluten free and vegetarian diners. Visit this establishment you won't be sorry.

My favorite coffee shop in Colorado Springs!!! Wonderful cinnamon chai tea and berry Gelato. It feels open and beautiful here. Friendly staff. Love this place!!! 💖

Don't walk, RUN here! This is the best meal we've had in Colorado Springs. We're city girls (DC & Houston) so we really miss the great food there. It's no secret that C. Springs leaves quite a bit to be desired cuisine-wise. I'm giddy with gratitude to have found such an amazing spot so close to home!

My roommate and I went to Javalato last weekend for brunch & my gawd!!!! Who knew a 2 hr wait at Urban Egg would've accidentally steered us to such a gem!

First of all, the young woman working; I believe her name was Dee. So gorgeous, so sweet and personable.

We ordered A LOT. Blue & gold moon milks, Taro bubble tea, the avocado toast (classic), and the tuscan salmon. That salmon was literally life changing. Every bite was a new experience. The avo toast was the best I've had here in the Springs & all the drinks were DIVINE. Every single thing was A+, 10/10!

A big part of me wants to keep this gem to myself bc it's kinda' hidden but after the last couple years, restaurants are struggling so much & I'd be heartbroken to see it go under or something so please go give them your $$$! LOL You won't regret it

Foods good, the service is the worst imaginable.
It takes forever for them to even notice you and get you a table
It takes another eternity for them to take your order
You wait 2 more eternities while gazing at people who came in after you getting their food before you, and also gazing at mounting amounts of dirty tables. You finally get your food after almost an hour, but they don't bring out nearly enough napkins or silverware. But one person never got their food, and they forgot about the order. Also, they don't wear gloves, and one time they said, after recounting how many of us there were, "oh good, no one has to get the dirty glass". I don't reccomend. Don't waste your time.

Strawberry stuffed French toast is amazing! Wonderful staff ! And very clean!

You'll have to wait a good hour for someone to even acknowledge you. Ended up just walking out.

The food and the coffee were good. And the employees were nice. Until, who I believe was the manager, started yelling at another possible ex-employee that came in to pick up a paycheck. She was screaming at the poor girl in front of all the customers and it was very uncomfortable. The manager went to the back, then came back up front and continued to yell at the ex-employee again. So so unprofessional. If there is a conflict, it needs to be resolved in a location not in front of the customers. I will not be returning to this establishment.

We only had their Gelato ice cream. They had lots of good flavors. There were several people eating inside. The food looked & smelled very good. We didn't eat this time, but we want to try eating next time.
