Canon City MUGS

Really a good place to get breakfast. I was looking for somewhere other than the chain type restaurants and took a chance on this place. The breakfast burrito had a generous amount of meat, not just a potato filler like other places. I really liked the green chili. They aren't out to win the prize if who can burn your mouth the fastest and hottest. This chili has a little spice to it but is actually very good. Flavorful and really adds to the overall taste of the food. Just a couple of suggestions: First, the tortilla was tough to cut into so it needs to be moistened a little. Second, the kids pancakes shouldn't be one large cake but instead, a few smaller ones. I would recommend this place and we will be back.

food is mid, waitress are slow and forgetful, but they don’t mind because they’ll just add their own tip onto your bill without telling you.

We don't even go here often, but when we do, we love it! The food is really good (love the wings particularly), and the service is super friendly. Mugs is great for watching football as well, especially on the side of the restaurant where almost nobody hangs out since they're all over in the other room. Great place, check it out!

We ate here a couple of times on our vacation and loved it. They have the best selection of food out of all the restaurants we tried in the area. Everything we ordered was fresh, cooked to order and very tasty! Service was friendly at attentive as well. Would definitely return!

Food is fantastic. I had an Eggs Benedict and my wife had a breakfast burrito. I was very happy with the food, we will definitely be coming again.

Nice place, food for the others in my group looked great. I found that my Patty Melt burger patty was overcooked. The fries were the super thing ones that were extra crispy. I also got some of the chili, which was really good. Overall, decent place.

Excellent experience. We figured this would be just a normal "diner" type meal. Wow! We were wrong. Surprisingly, some of the best meals we've had in a while. Both the shrimp bowl and the chicken bowl were top notch. We also had the meatloaf which was very good and my son had the fried chicken sandwich. The service was great, even during the Stanley Cup finals. Sam kept everything flowing on time. Even the lemon-berry dessert was a hit. Definitely eat here when in Canon City.

Great wing sauces but their chicken is disgusting, it’s more antibiotic stuffed fatty fluff than it is meat, it’s horrible quality. Every time I go here there is at least one mangled mutated wing. At almost 2 dollars a wing that’s unacceptable. The fries are awful too, shoe string but they way overcook them, I was basically eating stale crackers this time. The sauce should be the hardest part, they got that down but the rest is disgusting. Simple quality control is much needed. Nauseating wings today.

Pretty traditional breakfast fare but nothing special either. No omelets disappointed omelet lover here. The red potatoes were way too over done and dry nubs. There is a good selection of pancakes and they came out fluffy and soft. Wish they had more and better offerings offerings tho.

Great food, people and place. It is our new favorite place.
