Canon City MUGS

Service was good, they were very busy. I had the veggie burger. It was dry as a bone. Dry bun and hard as a rock on the bottom and edges. They did discount my meal. My date had the prime rib. He enjoyed it. However, it was very Disappointing and should have been completely comp. Such a shame

One hour later, still no fries. This is not the first time we have been disappointed by the long wait to get food. The atmosphere is fine and they have a good happy hour, but the wait is not worth it. We are locals and have been to Mugs many times. The service has deteriorated to a point we can no longer tolerate. Farewell, Mugs.

My husband and I have been here many times. Have been pleased with each visit. Food is really good! I had the turkey melt and my husband had the BBQ bacon burger. Our server Tiffany was OUTSTANDING! VERY KIND! Will definitely return.

Great fresh, home cooked food. Have no had a bad meal here. Great brunch, burgers, chicken fried steak with from scratch gravy. Actually open unlike many places in cañon city. My go to place when visiting Cañon City. Staff is all great. Love it !

We ordered the Cajun shrimp appetizer and it was every bit as god as the similar dish served-at Pascal Manale in New Orleans. Half of my family are from New Orleans (and Plaquemines Parish) and they were one of the families that pioneered the oyster industry in Louisiana. I highly recommend this establishment.

My husband and I came for breakfast and we’re not disappointed! He had eggs and sausage from a local meat company—-delicious. I had the tasty breakfast burrito with a side of some fabulous green chili. Everything was great, including the peach smoothie and the friendly service. Definitely recommend!

Staff was very rude. Waited for an hour for our food and ended up leaving. No one seemed to care. Staff were just sitting around. Our waitress said our food was on its way and then disappeared for 1/2 hour. Tried to ask one of the staff members and he said “I don’t work back there” and was quite bothered that I dared to ask him. Deserves no stars.

[Picky eater review] So many wonderful things to say about this place. I was in Cañon City for one day, passing through to Denver. I dropped by in the morning and was thrilled to find a place that deserved 5 stars. I loved the ambiance, the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, and the food was AMAZING. Best bacon I think I’ve ever had 🤤 And the pancakes are the best I’ve had at any restaurant—ever. I highly recommend!

Waited 40 min for a burger that was not hot. No refill on drinks until we were done with meal. Will NOT go back.

Went with a party of 4. Everyone's food was delicious. I had the Santa Fe Salad and it was phenomenal. Juicy chicken, crispy romaine, fried onion strings, and a dressing with a kick. Bruschetta sandwich, sliders, and burgers were also really tasty. The fries were potato-y and flavorful. Thanks so much!
