Canon City MUGS

Canon City Mugs is a very good place to go for either breakfast, drinks, dinner or all of the above. The service was good, the food really tasty which was probably the reason why the place was packed. You can eat in the bar area the less loud dining room. We started withthe Buffalo wings which were awesome and had the bruschetta chicken sandwich for the entree. The sandwich was amazingly good. Overall, the menu has a nice selection for any palate. I recommend checking Mugs out.

Great small diner in Cañon City. The coffee was hot and fresh. The food was delicious also. Everyone there was friendly and the service was quick.

Hey people just wanted to let you all know that this place is absolutely wonderful!! They were slammed and we didn't have to wait for anything. Service and food was perfect!! Try the 🥓 bacon pancakes 🥞 😋 👌with a vanilla cappuccino awesome!!!!

Great place to stop for breakfast on our way to the Royal Gorge!
Lisette was our server and she was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and what to recommend.
Their pancakes are soft in the inside with a slight little crunch; it was perfect!
We spent just under $30 for three people!

Normally really good. Not that day. Soggy onion rings, waaaay under cooked patty melt, the bread wasn't even toasty. I did try to eat it but had to stop.

This place was fantastic! Meat (prime rib)was cooked perfect, juicy and flavorful. BBQ sauce on the pulled pork was nice and Smokey and not overly sweet which was a nice change! The Nutty Irishman (coffee) was a delicious dessert without being too sweet. Service was wonderful with a kind greeting and thoughtful waitress. The entire place was nice and clean. Would definitely visit here again!

Ate breakfast here after a camping trip. It’s a great spot! Friendly service, inside seating and patio seating available. Excellent coffee! Highly recommend the banana walnut pancake (pancakes come w/ 2, but I got 1)
and parfait. Also, the bacon is fantastic.

Final Thoughts!
Would have loved to give this restaurant five stars at it hits a lot of the marks. Friendly and inviting staff members that are helpful and kind. The biggest downfall for me personally is the lack of vegan options. The options that appear to be vegan or vegetarian are not. Which unfortunately left me having a salad for dinner.

Had the pulled pork with coleslaw and side order of sweet potato fries. Also tried the Colorado green chili. Grilled bun pulled pork sandwich was good. Lots of meat, topped with slaw and it had a little sweetness taste to it. The sweet potato fries were good but cooked a little longer than I prefer. Now the green chili was good and spicy. Had a kick to it. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The place is a Cafe and a coffee shop.

Absolutely love mugs. They make amazing food for the most part. Their breakfast food is the only thing that keeps me from giving them a 5 star. But if you want amazing lunch or dinner they will not disappoint!
