Columbine Café

We visited January 2022 . Food was delicious!! Service Was great and quick.The wait to get seated was terrible! But we did not call ahead or had a reservation and we arrived at the peak of breakfast rush , we did not find a lot of places open for breakfast at that time , when we return I will definitely call and make a reservation.

I came here for the corned beef and I was not disappointed. I have been sampling corned beef breakfasts from all over America and when I was told this is cooked over 15 hours - well I just had to try it. The place was nice, clean and well-staffed. No one at our table was unhappy. The server was great and the food came out in a timely manner.

Every time I am in the mountains I make it a priority to get breakfast here!

I typically order the western omelette as it is loaded with ham and peppers! The biscuit is a new favorite of mine as well!

I overheard another table say they have gluten free bread, but I did not see it anywhere on the menu. I didn’t ask though either. So perhaps ask and see!

Solid, filling breakfast at a convenient little spot in Brek! The service was fast & friendly and the food portions were A-1! I ordered the Brek Scramble and my husband had the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette with egg whites. Very delicious food with cheap/reasonable prices.

This restaurant was recommended by the staff where we were staying. When we get there, service was awesome. But the food was absolutely terrible! We ordered Columbine big breakfast ( I think it was called that) the hash browns were shoestring potatoes deep-fried no flavor. French toast was soggy, not well done and taste like pure vanilla. It was very overwhelming. I was going to let it slide. But my wife & daughter couldn’t eat there’s either. We all ordered different things with the same results. When confronting the manager he says “oh well we could have fixed it” very disappointed. I said “for what more bad food.? “ Don’t waste your time or your money there’s more & better places. The 2 star is because we liked the waiter.

Good breakfast spot on Main Street for pork green chili. Not really specific gluten-free items available but I got the huevos Rancheros. It was delicious as well as everyone else's entrées.

The street side / bakery and coffee shop was amazing. The coffee was made with great ease and skill didn’t smell any burning at any point during the experience. Baked goods looked and tasted so grand I almost didn’t get a shot of any of them. None the less the magic bar was saved for later and I took my time with the ice latte. I recommend the strawberry cheese croissant and the chocolate pumpkin cupcake.

Always delicious. I never miss a chance to eat here when I'm in Breck. Get here early to beat the rush, especially on weekends. It's that good....
