Good ambiance and friendly service. Food was good but even by Beaver Creek standards, it's pricey. $18 for two tiny tacos (see pic) and some potato chips. Much quieter here than upstairs at the Dusty Boot, but a lack of customers tells another story. (note: Google maps currently shows separate listings/locations for The Met Kitchen and the Metropolitan but it's the same place, on the mid level and below the Dusty Boot.)

Not my taste. I am from Latin America and these plates and drinks are lacking some of our spice. Experience it for yourself, don't take my word for it. Picture is from an Arepa.

We showed up without reservations and were able to get a seat easily at the bar. The bartender was attentive and the food was excellent, from the runs like to the short rib stuffed mushroom.
They have cool drink specials. I had a whiskey sour that came with avocado and chips for $8. Next time in Beaver Creek will be sure to make it back.

We loved our dinner at Metropolitan. Relaxed atmosphere, causal ambiance, great service... and the food, creative tapas style to share, was excellent. Everything was tasty, well seasoned, cooked to perfection... we all really enjoyed the experience. The wine list was well rounded as well.

The food was mediocre. Typical uninspired resort food. The service , however, could have only aspired to mediocrity. Maybe it's just us, but the two of us assumed that our entrees would be served at the same time (same time meaning within ten minutes of each other). Not that our waiter thought anything of it. He set down the second entree with not an acknowledgement, much less an apology, that anything was amiss. The much-ballyhooed Enomatic Wine Dispenser was acting a bit, well, enigmatic in its deliveries, and we were treated to the spectacle of three overserved women registering their displeasure not just to the manager but, rather, to the entire restaurant. We experienced The Metropolitan on a weekday night in March, not crowded, and hardly a busy night. There are plenty of better options in Beaver Creek.

We grabbed dinner at the Met while looking for our wedding venue in Beaver Creek. Holy cow, what a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely delicious along with awesome drinks (must try the barrel-aged manhattan!). The tacos, tuna sliders, bacon wrapped dates, cake bites - it was all so delicious. Plus the crazy enomatic 16-bottle wine machine they have there, which is not only an awesome conversation piece, but it’s a great way to try a bunch of wines rather than having to get a glass at a time.
The food and drinks were so good, we decided to throw a happy hour for our guests the day before the wedding. Again, the food was absolutely delicious. They handled our 50+ guests with ease, the food was just as good at scale, the venue fit our group very well (could have taken even more). Service was excellent - Thair served excellent drinks while Kenny and Rob served and kept an eye on everything throughout the afternoon. Chef Steven was a pleasure to work and chat with.
Kenny was a pleasure to work with - he kept on eye on our budget to make sure we had enough food for everyone without going crazy. Overall, this was an amazing venue to eat at either on our own or with a giant group. Prices are very reasonable and the food is unmatched in the village. Thanks so much to these folks!!

Great wine bar in Beaver Creek. They have a wine dispenser machine that let them sell great wines by the glass and the small plate's menu is simple but pretty good. Reasonable prices for both, the wine and the food. Decoration and ambience is great

Made a reservation to eat at this restaurant with my husband tonight knowing that the county is on orange level precautions and there are restrictions for restaurants. Came in for our time....this restaurant is not observing the required restrictions. All tables were in use which meant many patrons were/would be less than 6 ft from each other and without masks if eating. Some patrons were walking around the restaurant without masks. Some of the staff were wearing only bandannas around their faces, the least protective option. Upon seeing this, my husband and I opted to immediately put in a to go order, not taking off our masks while in the venue. Upon returning to our room with the food, I will say the food was quite good.

A fun atmosphere and a lively place to be. Warm setting, a wine dispensing machine at the heart of the dining room featuring many bottles (in addition to the wine list) to be sampled. Food is consistently good, having sampled several tapas dishes. Booth setting alliows bigger parties. Recommend a try!

Under new ownership! The Met is one of the best restaurants in the area! Amazing food and super nice people! Desserts are delicious!
