Places in Aspen generally leave me disappointed and amazed that people pay the prices for the lack of quality. In this case, I wasn't overly impressed, but I did like that they have nice outside seating, and they treated my Fur-Daughter well. She had non-dairy scrambled eggs and seemed to enjoy them. The baked goods decent, but I am kind of partial to Loius Swiss. Anyway, give it a try. Order something good for your fur baby too.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at a French-run breakfast joint and was unfortunately disappointed by the quality of the food. For a meal totaling over $45, I was expecting a higher level of culinary excellence, but the burrito and omelette we ordered were mediocre at best.

The burrito was small and dry, lacking in flavor and overall appeal. The omelette, on the other hand, was a complete disaster. The eggs were overcooked and had a texture reminiscent of rubber tires, and the smoked salmon and spinach were not incorporated well into the dish. For a restaurant that bills itself as a breakfast joint, I would expect a better execution of classic dishes like the omelette.

On a positive note, the staff were wonderful and very helpful. The coffee was also quite good. Overall, while I appreciated the friendly service, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on the subpar food.

Pastry review: The GF Coffee Crumb cake was excellent. The ratio of streusel crumb topping was spot on. The cake had pockets of a cinnamon filling that had a well-balanced flavor. The soft cake allowed the filling to not feel overly rich. You can see a close up in my picture of the cake.
The chocolate croissant, not pictured, was incredible. I am comparing the chocolate croissant to one of the top French bakeries in San Francisco that I visited last year (I'm originally from CA) and it holds its own as one of the most decadent chocolate croissants I have ever had. The chocolate pieces on top of the croissant are melted flawlessly into the croissant. The chocolate filling is spread evenly and has a decadent flavor with each bite. It was amazing. The worst part is that we live 4 hours from here.

I can’t trust a business that’s not transparent about their prices (they aren’t listed). I was surprised to see my small mocha and yogurt with granola come out to $22. Everything tasted adequate. In Denver I would pay $13 for this and it would taste better.

I got a build your own breakfast bowl and a matcha latte and it was $47. Beyond ridiculous. Even for Aspen. Tasted bland and the sweet potato was not fresh and it was cold — in a hot breakfast bowl dish.

We got take out before we went for skiing. Coffee was really good and banana cake was very flavorful. Definitely recommend to get latte and banana cake from there.

Amazing food and service. I had a custom order and they were very gracious. I can’t wait to come back to try some more of their breakfast items and pastries

Breakfast are delicious! Fresh pastries and croassaints, burritos, bowls, oatmeal, eggs and sandwiches. The service is great, very friendly and fast.

Still amazing after all these years. Great salads, soups, awesome vegan breakfast burritos served all day. Really good sandwiches too. We love jour de fete!

Came all the way from Florida did not regret it the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. They can charge separate for the service alone and I'd pay for it. I order something off menu and they made it exactly how I wanted it. Nothing but warm smiles from the staff
