We stopped here early in the morning to warm up with a nice cup of coffee and pastry before our day up in the mountain. Like everything else in Aspen it's pricey for what you get. The pastries were actually delicious while the coffee fell a little short but was still good. They were nice enough to explain what each of the pastries were which made our decision making a little easier so we appreciated that. Definitely stop by!
Connected to the adjoining Hotel Jerome. FRC offers a 5-star space/ambiance where the air feels like it’s always golden hour. The coffee is also quite good for sipping away in the daydreamy space. The hot chocolate and croissant ($11) were less than meet the eyes, average at best esp. for the price.
Amazing coffee. Really good matcha. Highly recommend. And the pastries are a dream as well. Can’t wait to come back soon 🤍 Ps. Their homemade nut milk is so tasty (please don’t ever stop making it, so much better than any store bought “nut milk” and just clean ingredients instead of added flavour, gums etc…).
We had a girls retreat in Aspen this last weekend, & on our last day headed into Felix for coffee & work focus time. The shop is ADORABLY decorated, it was a beautiful atmosphere. The coffee was a little pricey, but we spent several hours there & the employees were quick to jump if we needed anything, including free glasses of water. The food was SPECTACULAR. We loved that we could relax & enjoy something decadent before heading home that day. It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of our amazing trip. Thank you Felix!
Easily one of my favorite coffee spots in the Downtown Aspen area. I passed by here on their opening day inside of Hotel Jerome to have a cortado and croissant. The space was nicely decorated and aesthetically pleasing, service was quick and friendly, and the taste of both the cortado and the croissant were delicious! Honestly the price was a bit high but Aspen is Aspen so it comes with said price tag. Will definitely stop by again next time I’m in town!
If I were writing this last year, I would have given 5 stars, as the coffee has been excellent in the past, but today she forgot the vanilla (which I realized after I had left) and didn’t do any latte art, which sounds snooty, but if I’m paying $10 for a coffee, it better be pretty fancy and on previous trips, the baristas have done beautiful latte art. If today had been my first experience, I can’t say I’d go back, but maybe she was just having an off day?
I love this new coffee cafe in Aspen. Great pastures and coffee. The lattes with their homemade nut milk is so tasty. I love meeting friends and clients here
The most expensive latte I’ve ever ordered. I’m not kidding you- $16 is outrageous and honestly tasted super bitter. Wouldn’t go back. 2 stars for cute vibes. That’s it
Incredible atmosphere, and wonderful coffee and food. Yes, the prices aren't cheap, but the coffee is great and the avocado toast and berry bagel (forgot the exact name) are incredible. I can see how if you're just running in to pick up coffee and a treat it may seem expensive, but I highly recommend Felix as a place to stay and enjoy. Well worth the price for a stop to rest or remote work. We had incredible service, with staff quick to deliver our food and coffees, as well as clear our dishes and bring us free waters. Felix is wonderful place to get some work done (we were there for several hours) while admiring the fun decor and enjoying great food and drink. I'll be back!

$9 croissant is likely slightly marked up. Love the hotel otherwise.
