This town seems pretty dang empty but out of nowhere, there’s pizza! And coffee! I think Sipping the Bean (unusual name, right?) is just getting started, and I hope they make it. Today they were doing some training behind the counter and although I was just passing through, a few locals were already hanging out chatting. The staff was very friendly.
I had a frosty coffee (ice cream and coffee in a milk shake) which was great. And I had a slice of pepperoni pizza, which was pretty similar to Digiorno but I think homemade, and it hit the spot for a quick, cheap lunch.
The inside is large and could accommodate more furniture than there is right now, but there are a few different areas to sit with different size groups. There are also some gift shop type items to browse - candles and other local tchotchkes.
Love to see a new small business getting started in this lil town and hope that they thrive!
Wonderful little stop in such a beautiful place. Best Italian Creme sodas. Pizza was phenomenal. Open welcoming atmosphere. They are featuring local artisans. If you are looking for a cozy place, warm greetings amd amazing people, be sure to come by!!
We were happy to hear we could get pizza in Antonito but we weren't sure how they would taste. No worries... the pizza was delicious. I also had a smothered green chile burrito the next day and it also gets 5 stars. Welcome to Antonito!
I stopped in for breakfast and Luch today. I had the breakfast burrito and a piece of green chilly slice of pizza that i definitely give a thumbs up too and highly recommend.
The coffee is absolutely delicious, and the breakfast burritos exactly what you need on a road trip, or to stop for a few hours of work as you pass through!
