I really like this place and try to go once in a while. They have, what I consider to be, comfort food. Everything I have had has been prepared fresh and to my specification. There staff has been there for a long time, which I believe says something positive about the place that can keep its employees for many years. They have a good sized menu and specials. Today I went with a friend and we both had biscuits and gravy + and they were the best. I hope you get a chance to eat there.

We have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Sometimes the food & service are great, other times we are sorry we chose to eat there. Tonight the grilled fish was flavorless while the pot roast was fork tender and delicious. Nice crisp green salads but the dinner rolls were tough, as if they had been microwaved too long.
Our waiter was very busy taking orders and serving food while the counter waitress, with one customer at the counter, stood using her cell phone or eating, standing up, herself. That's annoying when you are waiting and waiting...

This place has some of the best homestyle food anywhere. The staff is amazing and has been there for many years. They remember you when you come in and are always friendly. The food is fantastic with nothing on the menu that I would not recommend. This can make your decision a bit tough at times because it’s all so good, but honestly, if I have to have a reason for a tough decision on the menu??? It’s gonna be because it’s all “Just that good!” Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Wasn't particularly interesting but maybe not bad per se. I figured I'd give steak and eggs a chance and as usual this was a mistake. Eggs undercooked relatively to how I asked for them, steak overcooked, etc. French toast was okay. The hash browns were pretty good.
No real coffee options for a place with coffee in the name. Generic brewed coffee was diner appropriate (kind of bad but nostalgic maybe?).
Took ages to get someone to give me change to tip them with, too, which is weird since they don't let you tip by card lol?
Would not hurry to go back with other options nearby.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Everything still looks the same. It's always so busy and that's a testament to the food quality and great customer service.

Fries were fresh & delicious. I had a Patty melt on rye. Great bread, super greasy meat, 2 kinds of cheese -maybe mozzarella & American. Service was fine, prices not bad. It's well staffed, very clean & not too noisy given how busy it was. Lots of parking on the west side of the building. Nothing fancy - it's an old school diner, but 70 years in business tells you that the locals like it.

I’m from WI and visit my family in Landers which is about a 20ish minute drive from here. Been here a few times now and I have to say that they are an amazing place to eat. Big variety of meals on their menu! Food is cooked to order and done very well. The wait staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating when it comes to substituting food items. Whatever you order; bring your appetite! They don’t scrimp on anything. Huge orders that leave you completely filled and satisfied when you leave. In fact, I’m heading over there for lunch as soon as I finish this review lol!!

Awesome old school coffee shop breakfast joint. They got all the old time favorites and you can sit right at the coffee bar in a good ole fat pleathered cushioned swivel chair!:) I ordered an omelette with hash browns and an old fashioned chocolate malt shake! All of which were prepared & served just as described. Delicious too! 😋 Our server was friendly and on top of her game. I look forward to coming back again. 😋 Thank you

Small place in Yucca Valley with reasonable prices and good food. Bring cash, as they have a 3.5 percent surcharge on credit card purchases. Breakfast served all say.
