Surfers Point Café

Sandbox Coffeehouse has one of the best coffee in Ventura County. I came from a country of great coffee, and my experience the Sandbox had been one of the best in terms of coffee. My husband had a great Turkey sandwich with cranberry souce. Close to the beach and has a relax beach environment. The owner was very nice and welcoming.

This was a great way to start a morning walking the beautiful coastline. We had an espresso and a cubano. Service is wonderful, as is the space. You can start here walk past the Tortilla Flats mural, see some surfing, and walk to the pier.

This is a not so hidden gem.
1$ dollar coffe and great atmosphere.
They have couches to lounge.
Quite space for study or group meetings.
They have an outdoor section where they play live music on the weekends.
I personally like going here and highly recommend there breakfast bagel.

Best breakfast spot I tried in the area

Great little shop. We stayed in Ventura one night after my friends recommended I visit. We were pretty underwhelmed. We walked the beach and then stayed in our hotel most of the evening. But we stopped in here for some breakfast and coffee before hitting the road and I've gotta say this place was the highlight of our visit to Ventura. Great food and coffee in a quaint, quiet little shop with local art for sale on the walls.

No regard for the safety of others during this pandemic. Openly doxxing customers who ask about safety and why employees are not wearing masks. There are far better and safer coffee shops to go to in the area. Stay away from this business.

Good, fresh fare. Service was a little slow, BUT our meal definitely was not mass produced...worth the wait. Outside seating is available and it was a beautiful day. Live music was provided.

Great place to enjoy coffee, muffin or acai bowl on outdoor patio. They also have live music in the evenings on some nights. Really close to the beach, highly recommended.

What an amazing coffee shop/cafe/restaurant! I have lived in Ventura my whole life and have never ventured down to this little gem. Not only do they have great lattes but they also make their own Kombucha. They even have great food selections!

Amazing little place in Ventura. Normally we go to a different coffee shop within walking distance from this place so it was cool to find it in the same neighborhood. The Acai bowls are to die for. Never had one ever & ordered the Rin Con. Apologies for missing spelling it, but know that it's a MUST ORDER when you stop in at this totally cool coffee stop! They've got our vote for sure!
