Schat's Bakery & Cafe

Really nice bakery, sweet shop, and sandwich shop. Staff is very friendly. Huge selection of sweets and baked goods. Didn't get a sandwich but they all look good. Croissant I did get was all right, not the best but not the worst.

This place is amazing. Went in for breakfast, had the breakfast quesadilla. Oh my goodness, so yummy, yummy goodness even on the ends of the quesadilla, which was wrapped like a burrito. Hubs had the breakfast burrito, it must have been good he ate every bite. Bought a couple cheese bread sticks for dinner that night with the homemade chili we had. Schat's is a little over an hour away from me, worth the drive every time.

Excellent bagels for a small town bakery. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. A bit much sugar for me in many things, but overall excellent across the board (and I am coming from Palo Alto and New York!). I am grateful Schatz is here.

Delicious soup and sandwiches on perfect bread. Great break in a journey!

This used to be a great place with great food and service but it seems to have gone downhill in recent years. The staff members at the courthouse location continue to only put half an order or the wrong order in the bag and are often unpleasant to order from. The food continues to taste great, but the poor service often keeps me from returning.

It's great when you get food from some places that comes highly recommended and find that it lives up to the reviews. Add me to the good review list. With a stop whenever you find yourself in Ukiah.

As a tweener we always went to Schat's near Mammoth. Through critical eyes I thought they were just wonderful.

I've had better scones .. in Ireland! My sister (lives in SB, CA) drives and stops to get their upside down pecan muffins. Clean, quick, I wish I could run a business that cool.

Schats bakery is like the pearl of the town. It has great food, excellent baked goods, and superb customer service. They also serve a mean latte comparable to all major coffee houses and better. If you need a custom cake, no problem. The bakers are happy to coordinate with you and help you make that special occasion that more special. This is a family run business, and has been serving its community for many years. Stop in for a cake pop and have a wonderful day.
