I am always looking out for good places to host gathering with girlfriends and for Meetup groups. It's not easy to find a large space for a group of 10-15 people in coffee shops that has nice decor, a clean restroom, quiet without loud music, and are not busy on a weekend afternoon. I think cafes in the hotels might be a good choice around Silicon Valley.
10/10/2022 Edited: My group of 18 people went to this place in the past Saturday and had a great experience. Although I didn't know that their barista only worked until 2pm, there are still cold drinks that we can purchase. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with our parking validation.
Pros: Very nice lobby, pleasant staff, clean bathrooms. Cons: Expensive, shop deserted after 2 pm.
This is one of the only public coffee shops/restaurants near the Google Cloud, Amazon, and Meta offices, inside a new hotel that opened in February.
Came around 12:30, no fresh pastries, just a few cookies and the packaged food options in the refrigerated case. I ordered a small drip coffee ($5) and a chocolate chip cookie ($7), $12 total. The taste of the coffee was pretty good, but full of grounds at the bottom, so that was a big negative. Cookie is obviously way overpriced.
As mentioned in another review, the shop is not regularly staffed after 2 pm, and the pastry case is completely empty. Other restaurant staff will come over to help with coffee if they see you standing there (I say this with confidence since a group was being served at 4:15 pm), but I have to question how well this works and the quality of, say, drip coffee that isn’t freshly brewed.
The lobby space is large with lots of seating options and both wall and floor plugs. If you want a laptop height table, you’ll be sitting at one of two communal tables on stools. All of the other tables are too low to work at. The hotel internet tested around 19 Mbps and was plenty fast for video conferencing. Bathrooms are located behind the restaurant, very nice and clean.
This would be a great spot to grab a quiet drink with a few colleagues and have a relaxed business discussion. As a coffee shop hangout, it’s too expensive with inconsistent service and products.
Great industrial, wood-cement, modern building (Tetra Hotel). Friendly service. Coffee not as impressive as building. Pour over was bland; decent drip coffee flavor.
The Shashi hotel has Coffee Manufactory instant coffee in their rooms. I was a skeptic but desperate for some coffee and caffeine. I heated up some water in the room kettle and stirred up some instant coffee expecting it to taste like carpet. I could not be more wrong. It was super delicious. Really impressed. Does it taste just like freshly brewed coffee? No, but darn close. Thanks so much for putting the care into this product. I ordered some to have in my travel bag.
Edited 10/10: I wasted my time. No one was there, empty lobby, just the hotel front desk person. And the self parking gate trapped us in the lot cause the barcode reader is broken or have a system bug for guests.
KINDLY ask owner to consider update hours to match barista actual working hours.
Always nice to have a new craft coffee shop open up, and Coffee Manufactory is no exception. This Cafe is located in one of the hotel buildings (facing the buildings from the parking lot, it's in the left building). They sell your typical espresso drinks as well as some pastry options. Enjoyed my cappuccino quite a bit. I'd recommend trying this place out!

$7 for one latte seems worth it for the environment.

Nice selection of kombucha. I got a pour over that was good! Best coffee in the area hands down.

Delicious coffee inside the new Tetra (Marriott).
