Tasty, healthy and high quality food. Came here 4 times in one weekend because it was delicious, casual and convenient. Love their smoothies, bagel with cream cheese and avocado, real Tahoe turkey sandwich and breakfast burrito!

I visited here years ago and I still dream about their food and juice. I think we ordered the tuna sandwich. I don’t even like tuna but it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Highly recommend it! If I’m ever in town again, I’ll definitely make a visit

The staff were also very kind!

I was here a few days ago and was not disappointed. We where passing by and decided to have some lunch, was a great decision to eat here. I had the nachos, they where amazing, I was expecting to be disappointed by them, but they are something to try here. I've had nachos at other places and have been disappointed with them. Also had one of their salads, the big salad, and one of the soup of the day that was available . The salad was also good, definitely a big salad. I'm not too much for soups, unless I have eaten them before but this soup was pretty good. Staff was amazing, I think their positive attitudes makes this place, one to go back. Definitely going back if I'm in the area.

Great organic food! Love the juices here, I had the carrot turmeric one. It was mouth watering and if I lived in town I would want to make this a daily place. I am not a soda or coffee drinker. I also dont eat sugar. I had this yummy ugly gooey nachos and my wife had the Tahoe Turkey, they didn’t disappoint. Pretty sure everything is good as this place is always busy. With said if you are in a hurry don’t come here. Definitely worth the wait. And it will fill you up so go hungry.

This is, hands down, my FAVORITE place to eat in South Lake Tahoe. It’s usually pretty busy but the food always comes out hot and fairly fast. I almost always get the veggie burger. It’s amazing. I also love the kale refresher juice. Definitely stop here during your visit to South Lake. You will not regret it! It’s amazing. So good!!!

A fantastic place to grab good healthy food. On the fresh juice section both the Flu fighter and ginger shot are must have’s. Curry Tofu bowl and the nachos were standouts.

The cafe is primarily vegetarian, although it does have an option to add Turkey to a couple of entrees, such as the turkey melt (see picture). Although this place was packed one of the times we visited and were told it would be a 30 minute wait, it took less time.

They also serve smoothies and juices I believe. They are located near a block from the lake and have outdoor seating. The staff is pretty friendly and the meals are fairly priced. But the best thing is that it provides an alternative from eating fried foods.

Other food items that are good are the kids nachos, raspberry smoothie, cadillac bowl and the half sandwich / soup combo. The sandwich was one with plenty of avocado.

I recommend this place. It reminds me of the restaurant immediately at the entrance of Zion National Park in Utah, Cafe Soleil. If you like that place, you'll like this Sprouts Cafe too.

So after reading all of the reviews I was really excited to eat here, unfortunately it fell short in my book. The place is cute, and has a great atmosphere with plenty of seating inside and out. However the food was disappointing.... I had the veggie crunch sandwich, which was good but nothing more than diced veggies between 2 slices of bread. Nothing award winning. We also ordered the veggie burrito... It was steamed veggies wrapped up with some rice, with beans on the side (?) and no seasoning to be found. It sucked. I live in SoCal, I know veggie burritos. The only saving grace was the corn chowder soup, BOMB. So, maybe we just got unlucky with our order but it was nothing impressive.

My favorite place in South Tahoe. Always crowded, but the staff are very efficient.
If you want to get fresh vegetables in Tahoe, this is the place. Try their variety of original mix juice also.
