A delightful family restaurant with delicious food and an inviting atmosphere. The breakfast burrito, huevo rancheros, and waffles are favorites but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Stopped here on the way to echo lake (trailhead to lake aloha) on a Saturday morning. The service was super fast, I had the breakfast special and my husband had an omelette. Bottomless coffee.. We each had several mugs before our backpacking trip. The servers were very attentive. Clean bathrooms, too!

-Ernie's Coffee Shop is a great place to grab some good coffee & breakfast.
-They even have loco moco, which was very tasty.
-Their locally-sourced house coffee is pretty good too.
-I really like the open-air layout once you walk inside.
-Their service is top-notch, which just makes the entire dining experience well-worth a visit.

Overall, I would definitely come back to eat here again the next time I'm in Tahoe.

Beautiful place with amazing food with decent prices! Their local coffee is brilliant and the food is absolutly great. Staff were amazing, and the vibe is awsome. You do not want to miss this place at the lake! We enjoyed every moment!
