One star rating not for the food quality but for the attitude and behavior of the employees everyone working out there especially two ladies and a guy who are so cold and seems to have some real attitude issues all the time.
They just keep ignoring and delaying the orders not sure if it's intentional or carlessness. No wonder this is not popular like Starbucks which has great coffee and as well as the service.
These two ladies need to be removed or train them to improve the attitude (service)towards the customer service. We pay money not just for the product but for service as well. If not it ain't worth spending a penny on this cafe.

I like the egg, bacon and cheese frittata!! But, the croissants (almond, chocolate and almond) are dry, they seem old. I asked if they were fresh and the attendant said they are made at 3 in the morning. In Paris they make their croissants really in the morning and they are moist, no need to hear to moisten.... Peet's needs to find a better baker

I love peets and I’m a loyal peets drinker. However, we waited 50 minutes for two shots of espresso and and oat milk latte. The service was really bad and only one person working the barista bar seemed to know what to do. The rest of the worker which they did have five people were not working. This store used to be really well managed. Every since they switched staff and manager the service is horrible. The quality of drinks went down the espresso was made incorrectly and was watered down so was the latte. I’ve been drinking Peets daily for 7+ years now and this was the worst customer experience. Peets corporate needs to take over this store and train the mangers and workers.

Dropping from 5 to 1 star as the owner(s) should have managed this cafe better! They are always short staffed in the busy morning and still accepting those mobile orders. Ridiculous wait.

I’ve never left any negative reviews for any places so far, but I have take the time today to put my reviews here.
The two young ladies working at the cafe (6/17) were very cold and I feel like customers were just an inconvenience to them. The lady who took my order was very impatient. Then, the drink was prepared wrongly, no apologies were given…The thing annoyed me the most was that both ladies ignored me when I asked for the correct straw for the new drink. It was not even busy at the store by that time...I would like to remind these two ladies, customer come to the store is not to pay 5+ dollars to bear with your attitude and let you ruin their days. A little improvement on the customer service would be great.

Slow service during peek hours - with staff standing around and failing to work the long line of customers in store waiting to place an order. Then you get up to order and hear their urn has run out. No one paying attention or managing this store efficiently. I would go elsewhere for a business meeting.

This morning at 5:33 am Monday, 9/26/22
I waited for the doors to be opened /unlocked so I could order a drink.

The doors were unlocked by a young lady (long pony tail). No greeting, no smile, no acknowledgment or opening the door to “welcome” a paying customer. She just unlocks it, and walks away, as if I was an inconvenience. Lol, It was actually comical.
I opened the door and walked in (as she darted off) and said “good morning”!!! . She didn’t turn around, nor did Barista who was standing near by, both clearly heard me.

So I walked up to counter. Say it again to the barista. The response I got. I did “just wake up only a 1/2 hour ago” Lol. As if it justifies the lack of engagement/acknowledgment at coffee service place??

Order my matcha tea. Quickly made and discovered it was half foam. Lol

Well good luck Peets with your morning crew!

They may need a little coffee before starting their shift.

Went to this location on 9/2/22.

This Peets location seriously needs to work on their customer service skills & picking up the pace. Been to this location more than once.

The two female barista preparing the drinks were working at a very slow pace, and when it came to making my Chai Tea Latte (with extra Chai) one of the baristas rolled her eyes at me when her fellow coworker (with purple hair) mentioned to her that my drink came with extra Chai.

You give me a nasty look because I ordered extra Chai to my drink?

Mind you; servers like her are the reason why businesses lose customers & profit. We the customers bring the money that goes into your pockets & business.

If you, the server, does not care to give good customer service, or does not like your job then you have no business working as a server.

Side note; please stop leaving the cash register unattended when customers are waiting in line to order! It leaves an extremely bad impression on your business, and especially for new customers!
