I used to go there with my son frequently. He likes coffee and I don't. But the Daily Grind serve sandwiches, tea, and desserts. They also sell smoothies which are really good. I would recommend it for anybody in the area.

Very friendly staff. Great variety of food and drink. A lot of yummy healthy food & drink. Good wifi. I love the freedom of being able to serve yourself coffee, and the many different flavors. Every once in awhile it's cold, but most of the time good.

The Daily Grind has the best patio for a coffee shop with great staff, quick service and everything you would want in the morning. The sun always seems to be out when you show up and the coffee is always just right. Try their Zucchini Carrot muffin, it's my fave ever! Oh and the smoothies are incredible!

Fabulous coffees, fast fast friendly service, great bagels and pastries too. Buy your cup, then pour your own coffee from at least 10 choices. A major local favorite, with wonderful tree shaded outdoor seating.

This is my favorite coffee shop in SB! In the mornings when it's busy it can be a little hard to find parking, but the service is fast and they make the best yerba mates and tuna sandwiches in town! They also try to be very environment-friendly. Most (if not all) of their take-out stuff is recyclable and their tuna is responsibly fished to avoid dolphins. I definitely recommend this place.

Awesome coffee, scones & lox-n-bagels.
Clean place, good service. Handling the COVID-19 protocols very well.
We'll come back to the Daily Grid next time in S.B.

Good food right of the 101 in Santa Barbara.

Our favorite, best valued, delicious cup off coffee in Santa Barbara! Always greeted with a smile through all the challenges of the pandemic!

The nice baristas are the highlight here. The portAbello (sic!) sandwich, labelled "Hot", was bland, and so was the lukewarm Super Veggie juice. The double cappuccino tasted ok, while the lemon square was dry.

Always a decent spot. What happened to the electrical plugs along the main wall? Are they following the handlebar trend where they don't want people working on laptops there? I hope that's not the case because they don't have very good coffee nor ambiance. Good baristas help ! But everything is pretty solid across the board. The outdoor patio is nice. One of the best things is their big parking lot and the additional parking in the back up de la vina.

-UPDATE -

They recently did a menu remodel....out with the static signs, in with the the multiple LCDs....good news, much better aesthetic and modern look....bad news, they raised their prices on lattes by $0.50....they are started charging for plastic cups...$0.35..(this has forced me to start bringing me own cup....forced to be greener or is it a business model adjustment?) .they are still cheaper then places like Handlebar, but this place does not compare in terms of decor and scenery.....still worth it? i think so, price increase was long overdue, but somewhat disappointing...
