Perfect coffee, everytime

Peet's is a nice little place to duck into and have a nice warm cup of coffee or specialty drink. I like the window seating bar tops, you can sit there and enjoy your drink and watch all the different people walking up and down the street. The one thing that I do not like is that the only garbage can in the whole place is at the back of the store affixed to the area where you put your cream and sugar in your coffee. A can next to the door would be nice so you don't have to stand in line in the morning just to throw your cup away. Other than that it's a great place ! ! !

Went here last night with my friends after having dinner. Conveniently located in the middle of downtown San Mateo, making it easy for passerby to just stop and grab a cup of coffee.

The inside is pretty spacious with plenty of seating. The workers are friendly and quick in preparing our order. Overall I'm happy with my experience.

Yup, good. Surprised? No. The only issue I have is that the espresso machine has been replaced with an automatic push button machine & it takes almost as long for your coffee drinks as when I worked there years ago & used the manual machine that you had to train on down in Palo Alto. But.... Good.

My biggest complaint is the fact that they wouldn’t let me use their restroom after buying a drink. I had to go to the restaurant next door and they were kind enough to let me use their’s even though I didn’t buy anything from them. A bit of a head scratcher. Additionally, the staff was generally unfriendly. I won’t be coming back here.

Morning crew are great people. There's a guy who makes the other coffee's should learn manners by not smirking all the time when I come in. Wanted to report him to his supervisor. Refused to give me his name. These are all swing shift people. Never go to that dump again. Go to Philz from now on. People are more polite and respectful.

If you're familiar with Peet's than this should be no surprise. The service is fairly good but not spectacular. The coffee is better than Starbucks but maybe not as crafty as something from Philz.
This shop itself is a very good size and good for groups to meet.

I like this Peet's. Sometimes it can take longer than desired but they are friendly. There is a large seating area. You don't feel crowded as you might in other coffee shops. They package beans in front of you too.

I bought a medium soy late today. Delicious! I had a large soy late today. Also delicious

Polite and friendly staff that made my MOCHA FRAPPÉ order quickly and quite yummy.
