The last non-chain coffee shop in the area. Been going here for years, and I love it. Hope it stays open for many years to come. :)

Been enjoying this little gem since I moved in the area about 2 years ago. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable about coffee and tea. They have snacks and a nice seating area. A nice cozy coffee shop.

When I need to make the trip to San Jose to see my specialists at Kaiser-Permanente I always make it a point to stop in at MoonBean's.
Excellent coffee, skilled baristas, friendly service.
For what it's worth, I have been generally unimpressed with my purchases from the sweet case. Don't know if I've just had bad luck in my selections or if the baked items are uniformly mediocre. But do NOT let that complaint dissuade you from trying your favorite hot beverage here. I think you'll be pleased.

Wow. The cold brew I just had is very potent, I have the jitters. Excellent. Almost like meth in a cup. I'll be awake all day. I recommend this place highly.

Pretty good coffee, as far as I can tell. Nice people. Has more character than chains even though now it's not that visible now that there's no inside service.

This is a fantastic coffee shop. The service is great and the coffee (and tea) is the best. Each cup of tea is made to order to suit your taste. Far better experience than the big chains.

This is a coffee lover's place. Small spot in a strip mall, but worth seeking out. They will make your cup carefully from beans they roast on site. They spend much more effort than any chain can making you very happy you found this hidden gem.

Great coffee with a wide selection of specialty drinks and several different roasts, quick and friendly service.

A friend took us here after lunch, and recommended the dark roast pour over, and it was good! The shop roasts its own coffee right on site on a daily basis in a San francisco roaster that costs $70,000! The owner is happy to tell you how it works and at what temperature he roasts that coffee. There are bags of raw coffee in burlap bags right next to the machine. The beans are initially green and look kind of like peas, but the final product looks like what you buy in the store. The coffee shop itself is cozy and has nice chairs and a couple of small sofas to sit in. You will find people drinking coffee and working here all the time. When the roaster is on, it gets warm inside, but you can sit away from it or go sit outside too.
So how's the coffee? Very good, better than Peet's or Starbucks. The pour over is the most flavorful and I liked that a lot, but I diversified and tried the Cafe au lait and that was excellent too. The coffee has plenty of caffeine and I enjoyed the pick up. So this is an authentic coffee shop with excellent product in an nice unpretentious atmosphere that I highly recommend.

So, after reading many tips and reviews, I had my mind set on a certain drink when I finally came here. I arrived, scoured over the entire menu and after 2 different people asked if I needed help, I had to ask if they serve Dirty Asian's (it's a drink okay!!!) here. And yes, they do! They just don't have it on the menu so kids won't start asking questions lol. It's a mix of Thai iced tea + a shot of espresso. How could you possibly go wrong with that combination??

There's a lot of seating, but the chairs at the table aren't the most comfortable if you're here to do work. I came for a work meeting and my butt was a little sore after an hour lol. But the drinks are definitely worth it! They have many other very tasty sounding drinks that I'd like to try next time!
