Very unique place, definitely a good place to try. Their coffee is good and they have alkaline water you can try (and buy in bulk). I ordered a vanilla flat white, and it was delicious. They have dessert options but I didn’t try any (unfortunately). There’s some seating along the wall, but not too much. Staff and very friendly - they have many coffee options, and you can watch them make it. Definitely a place I would regularly go to grab coffee from.

Very clean and nice location. The staff is very kind and helpful.
The food is good without breaking a leg or your wallet.
The coffee however is fantastic - Lavender Latte team for sure!
Very enjoyable location. Five star without a doubt.

My friends and I came here for a brunch on Wednesday at 11am. It was crowded with people enjoying food & drinks while working! We managed to grab a small table to sit and we ordered
- Matcha Latte Tea
- London Fog Milk Tea Granita
- Honey Sea Salt Macchiato
- Blueberry Mascarpone Toast
- Avocado Toast
- Tomato Ricotta Toast
- Matcha Mochi Waffle Pop.
I was really excited to try their coffee as I have heard good things and they have single origin coffee beans! I ordered the Honey Sea Salt Latte since I thought the sea salt element would make the latte a sweet & salty treat. Unfortunately, it was was a bit too sweet for me! So if you don’t want your drink to be too sweet, remember to ask them to adjust the sweetness for you!
Amongst the food we ordered, my favorites were the Blueberry Mascarpone Toast and the Avocado Toast. The Blueberry Mascarpone is sweet, slight tartness from the blueberries, and pair perfectly with the creaminess of mascarpone. I always love avocado toast, but this one is really good! I think the umami of the seasoning pair well with mayonnaise on top!
Overall, I enjoyed the food here. I would come again and next time I will try a latte without any add ons!

It’s got the equipment to be a legit 3rd wave coffee cafe (something San Jose seems to struggle with) but staffing seems to be an issue in the times I’ve been.
Micro roasting, water lab, and all the other bells and whistles show the owner is intending to make a premium product. But
talented baristas are hard to find (and retain) so the only other option is to train.
I’m giving a good faith 5 star for now but I hope to see better pours in the near future.

Their cappuccino was super solid! I have never been asked if I wanted a dark or medium roast for my cap before so that was definitely thoughtful. The person at the register also made my drink and he was very kind. He had it done in less than two minutes.
A lot of people hanging out doing home work or just chilling on their laptops. Definitely a cozy place to get some work done with some great coffee.
I'd say this place is on par with Chromatic, but just a tad lower (to me) than Academic coffee or Grand Coffee. I'd still come here in a heartbeat if I was in the area.
Oh and they're open later than a regular coffee shop and have a lot of drink variety.

Cold brew variety and taste is solid. I got the bacon egg cheese toast which was nice and soft baked in the middle (if that’s what you like) but the four corners of the toast were rock hard! Not my preference. The baos were just okay.
Come for the coffee! Rating based heavily on the drinks rather than food.
The decor is very minimalist white- clean modern but a little boring for me.

Gonna wait to write a full review on this place after I've been a few more times but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and rate at 4
They have specialized machines for drip and cold brew. I was impressed by the state of the art coffee equipment and curious to try some of the other coffee options. Maple cold brew was smooth n icy. I would have liked it sweeter to taste more maple but I think the ice melted so fast and watered down the drink .Maybe I need to drink faster ?!
Egg toasty and matcha waffle pop were surprise menu items. It's a must try. Till next time...
Vibe : Already several people on laptops planted at seating areas at 9:30am on a weekend must be a popular hotspot.
Verdict - It's a small startup biz thats making a serious effort. let's support our locals over chains - that has always been my motto.

Coffee & Water Lab is a very unique place, definitely a good place to try. Their coffee is good and they have alkaline water you can try. I came here for coffee chat with my collage friends and catch up. I ordered HoneyDew macha latte, it costed $ 6.75 and it was delicious and special. They have dessert options and it looks delicious and beautiful but I didn’t try any. There’s some seating along the wall, but not too much. Staff and very friendly - they have many coffee options, and you can watch them make it. Definitely a cool place I and will come back for coffee chat again !

Coming from a person who roasts their own coffee at home, really impressed with this place! Especially in the afternoon when you don’t need caffeine, I was very happy with the freshness of their decaf. The maple lemon scone was delicious and fresh baked. Good service and clean environment. Minimalist in a good way because the coffee is the focus ;)

Cool ambiance, clean and plentiful + unique menu selection! I got the summer drink Orange tonic recommended by cashier. It was okay; small and $8. I will need to try more / other drinks but for now I am giving a 4-star bc the drink wasn’t really good to me and was expensive for the size and taste in my opinion. But I’m excited to try the other drinks!!
