Union Street Coffee Roastery

Just an establishment. It doesn't have the self conscious polish of lots of other places in San Francisco. If you want a casual cup of coffee, the chairs are just uncomfortable enough to keep patrons moving in and out and you'll feel relaxed enough to feel no rush.

Friendly service. Nice wooden decor. Slightly awkward (but flexible if you get creative ;) table layout.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! I love, love cappuccino! Have had hundreds if not over a thousand and this was the second worse cappuccino I have ever had. I would give it zero 🌟's if I could. Crappuccino!!! The espresso tasted BURNT, I cannot believe they admit to roasting their own beans.

This place is OK, but just OK, in my opinion. There's something about it which just isn't very comfortable. The room is kind of cavernous, and kind of gloomily lit. The door is very large, and it can be drafty in there. The seating is OK, but not particularly comfortable. I like the coffee, but I typically find being here not very relaxing, and sometimes kind of stressful.

Grab a coffee while you're waiting for the bus, or park up to work on your laptop, WiFi is solid.

This place is for suckers. Paying for quality is fine, paying to subsidize a merchant’s high rent is not.

Staff is great!

They offer a nice selection of grab-n-go breakfast and the coffee is delicious. Great value. 5 Stars.
