Ah-mazing! Pace yourself! We had a group of 6 at our table and still left completely stuffed. Well thought out meals. Plus the service was phenomenal.

The menu we had was creative and delicious. From lamb meatballs, oxtail, tartare, profiteroles, shrimp and sausage to ricotta, drumsticks, and octopus - everything was well thought out and perfectly cooked. I personally wish they had more beer selection, but its not a deal breaker.

You're looking at spending $50/ head before drinks - but worth it!!!

Wow - maybe my favorite meal in SD. I saw this placed listed on Eater as one of the top spots and they were right. Service was friendly and outstanding. As far as the food - Shishito peppers are always a staple starter, but these had a Mexican flare with the jalapeño, tortilla strips and cheese... some of the best I’ve ever had. The wood grilled cauliflower was also unique with the raisins and curry finish. Our server recommended the sausage and gnocchi... had a bit of a kick and packed a ton of flavor, SO good. The swordfish rigatoni was also a bit of a unique combo but the eggplant was really a nice touch. For dessert, the cookies and cream cheesecake was out of this world. I would give this place 6 stars if I could!

To be completely honest,
I found Trust in a San Diego Union Tribune article for San Diego's best burgers.

What I did not expect was that:
1. They were an mid-upscale establishment.
2. They didn't have burgers.

Being said, despite me showing up without reservation (as I thought this was a burger joint), and me wearing crocs and an old jacket (again, I thought this was a burger joint), the hosts were very welcoming and the food was delicious albeit on the pricier side (compared to a burger joint).

My takeaways were:
1. Wow, raw beef is pretty good
2. Four small plates is enough for 2 people
3. The intersection it's located in seems to have a lot of near accidents.

Anyhow, great establishment, despite being lied to by the Union Tribune.

Our evening at Trust was stellar! They seem to always be booked up for dinner, so either make your reservations in advance, or be prepared to have a later dinner. We aren't great planners, so ended up with the second choice, but grabbing a drink from the bar and snuggling by the fire pit made the time fly. The drinks were really good! I got the Smoke & Earth (mezcal and beets... I know) and it was fantastic! Well balanced. We appreciated how the menu is laid out, and we enjoyed the food immensely. I ordered the NZ Blue Nose Bass, and every bite was heaven. The prices are typical for this type of restaurant, but I feel like it's a good value for the quality of the food. Definitely not the priciest restaurant out there. I normally opt for chocolate dessert, but decided to try something different, and I'm glad I did! The carrot cake was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Went here last night and had dinner. This place was busy but the hostess greeted us and sat us right away. We sat outside which was nice because they have heated lamps. To start we had the Ricotta Agnotti it was so good we ate it so fast I forgot to take a pic...sorry guys. Then we had the grilled cauliflower which was yummy too the charred vinaigrette added extra flavor. For the main course we had Bacon chop which is a pork chop and it came with chicharrones (pork chips). I would get the bacon chop if you're really hungry otherwise stick to the small plates. For dessert we had profiteroles which were filled with banana cream deliciousness. The service that night was excellent. I really like the ambience and culinary experience that Trust provides. I highly recommend making a reservation as it does get busy especially on weekends.

We had the scallop, octopus, gnocchi and take five. The first two were our favourites. Excellent service as well :)

This 'New American ' restaurant is my new New Favorite place for brunch. Had 4 items off the menu and every bite was delicious and thought out. One of the few food places in San Diego that not only satisfies my palate, but my soul.

Great find and great service . Prices are reasonable and portions are fairly large considering it’s “tapas” style restaurant . Only thing stopping it from being a 5star is that the lobster risotto and oxtail ravioli was way too salty (and I like salt) . Highlights were the house made prosciutto and the shrimp and andouille sausage (don’t have photos cause I ate them too fast) . Will certainly come back but Chef please tone down the salt :) .

We came here for Saturday brunch and had a fabulous time. Our waiter Nate was just brilliant - super friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the pancakes and fried chicken. The pancakes were moist and soft, cooked to perfection.
