Chai Latte with cinnamon powder is a good option for the cold weather. Waffle is very chewy. But there's limited dessert options. No sandwiches. Open place and pet friendly.

Great coffee shop for coffee, studying, working, and chatting with friends. They have outlets so you can plug in. I had a great time 😃

Great location to work or study. Wifi is free, strong and will work on the deck in front or patio in the back. Furry friends (dogs) also seem to be welcome here. This place will be packed inside on weekdays, but there is plenty of seating. The line is usually very long to order on the weekend.

Moniker Coffee is my all time favorite San Diego coffee shop. Not even just San Diego, it's my favorite coffee spot ever. The vibes inside are so good, the decor is kind of like minimalist-industrial, and the coffee is incredible every single time. Perfect flavor, perfect temperature, love every coffee I've tried so far. If you're not in the mood for coffee you can walk 5 feet around the bar and order a craft cocktail which is also incredibly delicious (bar opens at 12). It’s easy to hang out or get some work done and it's inside of Moniker General which is a unique store space with carefully curated premium goods. It’s a wide open space, a good amount of seating, tons of natural light and air flow for the hot days! Also, the baristas and staff are so friendly and knowledgable. Great space in a perfect location with best coffee in San Diego - highly recommend!

I came to moniker to test the coffee and I can confirm this is one of the few outposts in the war against bad coffee. Excellent cappuccino. I can confidently bring Australian friends and family here and not be disappointed.

It takes 25 - 30 minutes for an order to be ready because this place gets jam packed all the time (weekends). However, the drinks are totally worth the wait, especially if you’re looking for some unique drinks!!!

Such friendly baristas! The seasonal food menus always hit. Definitely my favorite everyday coffee spot in San Diego :))
