Great artisanal coffee spot inside this trendy warehouse sharing space with other cool shops and things (like a barber shop). The staff is nice and very California laid back. Can confirm, they make great coffees and lattes. Great spot.

Im a huge coffee lover but also a picky one. James Coffee Co. is a place were you don’t just buy coffee, its the one you would like to sit in and enjoy your drink. The coffee shop is pretty spacious with minimalistic style. Besides coffee there are some small merchants stores and a barbershop that nicely blend in to the whole urban atmosphere. Ohh and of course the coffee...It is delicious the cappuccinos are smooth and punchy the espresso’s are solidly strong and I don’t think you will be disappointed in other drinks either.

This is a hidden gem! I love James' photography and his coffee is delicious. Had the pour over -can't go wrong. It's in a cute urban warehouse with a couple botiwuez, gift store, eyeware store, urban shave barber shop, and James home. Awesome set up and fun place to get coffee and hang out!

Really good drinks and cool to-go cups!! I gave 4/5 stars because the barista that took my order was on his phone when I walked up and continued to be distracted on his phone while I was placing my order 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ For my first time trying James Coffee the coffee itself was awesome but service not so much.

Yes some ppl might say airplane sounds are very noisy. Or they might smell restroom if you sit closer to that area (which I felt...but not too bad) but I work on my laptop at coffeeshops because i prefer places with noise around so I don't mind. They make good pourover, so they know coffee. Loved it

One of my favorite coffee shops in San Diego. I ordered a Cortado. One thing that took me by surprise was that they didn't charge me extra for oat milk on my small drink! I understand the upchsrge on larger drinks, but it was nice to not be charged for swapping 2oz of whole for oat. I would consider James to be comparable to shops in Seattle.

Great coffee place with little shops around it all add to the character. I tried the Honey Cinnamon Latte and was not disappointed...also had a fresh pastry which was delicious. Highly recommend.

Cool vibe, awesome boutiques, and I was very pleased with the coffees. The service was quick so you could grab-n-go but I'd suggest hanging out a while.

I love James Coffee Company! I love that they serve the coffee (hot or cold) in a reusable glass jar with a koozie. Very clever. And the bonus is the coffee is delicious! So much so that I had to get another iced coffee to go. I had the Mexican mocha and it has the perfect amount of heat. Oh so so good. Yummy!
