Genteel Coffee Co. is a very cool hipster indie coffee company. Open spaces. Lots of seating. nibig tables for work space or to chat with your team.

Nice outdoor area to sit and I enjoyed my Americano.

Fantastic espresso based coffee drinks and space, plus super friendly staff!
Loved the environment! Got a one & one to try espresso straight and milk based Cortana, then had a delectable iced espresso. Spent nearly two hours here working. My new location for downtown San Diego!

Was waiting to catch a flight to Austin and decided to grab some coffee at Genteel Coffee while I waited. The layout and decor is unique from most coffee shops I have been to, coffee was great, and the staff was very welcoming. They gave me some info on the area and even recommended a great location to have breakfast next. If you're from the area or are visiting like myself I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Great coffee, friendly staff, local pastries. Everything I would want on a Saturday morning! Try the cold brew with cream.

Genteel Coffee is absolutely my favorite place to grab coffee in San Diego. As a person who greatly values high quality coffee drinks, paired with incredible personal hospitality, I can confidently tell you that Genteel Coffee is THE place to be. Justin will not only make you creative and delicious drinks, but he'll also make you feel like you've been friends for years because he truly cares about his guests and strives to build a positive community around Coffee. I have not had a better coffee experience than Genteel.
