Wandered into Genteel's new store front I'm North Park this morning. Met the owner, Justin, and he was very kind and seemed really genuine.

Most important of all, the coffee was awesome! My wife got the Foxtrot and loved the strong flavors. I got a new menu addition called the Den Mother, and it was smooth and delicious.

There's small seating outside of the building and it is shaded, quiet, and peaceful. Very clean, and enjoyable for drinking your coffee and taking a break.

Awesome to see another local business added to North Park, and we will be coming back for sure!

THE INDOOR WAREHOUSE PHOTOS FEATURED OF THIS SHOP ARE OUTDATED - when we arrived there was only a small but cozy/minimalist interior and a porch outside with plenty of 2-4 person seating. Cute, but my friend and I were expecting the artistic dark interior/boutique shop we saw featured in the photo deck and were a little letdown.

At 10am on a weekday, there was only one pastry left and they were out of the matcha, which was a little disappointing. I knocked one star off for this and the service experience.

Redeeming quality: Coffee!
The iced vanilla latte with almond milk was tasty and comparable to other awesome local coffee shops. My friend got the cold brew and said it was great! So I’d come back again and hopefully give the matcha a try next.

My favorite coffee shop in North park! The coffee is sooo good. I have tried a few of their drinks but I keep coming back to a plain latte because it lets their espresso shine. The barista’s are very friendly. I love that they have great coffee without the snobby vibes high end places can have.

Exceptionally good coffee, made by baristas who know what they are doing. Highly recommend.

Very good coffee and pastries. I only wish they have the no flies fans and clean the outdoor seating more often. The flies are everywhere, definitely fans would be helpful.

Bomba matcha and espresso and cute patio section with plants. Nice and open environment. Safe space feeling. I liked it alot! Dine-in is open as far as I could tell January 2022. Wheelchair access as well. This is the new one that just opened on University Ave.

Great coffee, probably one of the best one in SD. Their espresso is well pulled and you can taste the note even with milk.
