Better Buzz Coffee Pacific Beach West

Great ambiance. Vanilla latte tasted like water though. Pretty sure it’s powder based flavor rather than syrup. Meh.

Came in from out of town and had to see what the hype was about and it was worth the 20 min drive from where I was staying. Had a Carmel Latte with almond milk the first day and then the "best drink ever" the next day. Both time the drinks were remarkable. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Better Buzz has gotta be my favorite coffee spot in SD. Mainly because I love the products and I adore the aesthetics. Their styling and branding is bold, current and madly popular.
The smith's were playing overhead and I sang along to This Charming Man while some cold foam splashed onto my fedora and my sunglasses fell into my avocado toast.
Ok.jk that didn't happen but I DID sing along to the smith's as it played.
The coffee and other products are great, a little on the expensive side but I feel like you're paying for that strong branding and prime san diego real estate so gladly you hand over your hard earned money with a smile each and every time. Take my money, please, I insist... Their string of cafes all seem to have an open airy feel to them. Quite modern and often functional designed spaces with lots of natural light and chic house plants that command you notice.
This time I only had an acai bowl as part of a series-gone-quest to find the best Acai Bowl in SD.
While I loved their rendition, it was just basic and not over the top as I would expect from BB. Granted I did order the most Basic B!+ch of the 3 thst they offered.. Full of berries and banana, the portion of granola was generous and added an element of texture and crunch through the entire experience in a way that I appreciated and loved. By basic I don't mean tawdry... no not even. I mean it's simple and predictable and probably very consistent and that's a good thing for when you're just needing to fill a fix. I personally LOVE when there are cacao nibs, mango, pineapple and chia seeds included and this bowl was missing those things. This Acai Bowl is a solid B
But the caffe, it's staff and it's Corporation in total get 5 stars from me.

These guys are super popular, and now I can see exactly why. Long lines go quick, coffee is really good, super cool atmosphere, and the baristas usually call names Not Just Drinks. Been back twice in the last 3 days. They are rocking it for sure.

Careful ordering a drip coffee light on the cream! It ended up being a cold latte from the heavy handed employee responsible. Drove back and explained the problem showed them the "coffee" and was the recipient of "and?". I don't understand the attitude when clearly they messed up and dumped cream in there. I asked if I had done or said something to offend them. No comment just a long blank stare. The woman who took our order was beyond sweet, however the peeps inside are on another level rude. Looking forward to trying other coffee shops around PB.

I have gone to Better Buzz every day for the last week. The staff is friendly, they have an excellent atmosphere, and great selection of pastries and açaí bowls. The islander is my favorite açaí, and of course you can go wrong with a bear claw. Highly recommend this spot for your morning routine.

I recently found out this place and I love the coffee. If you are white chocolate coffee lover I would recommend you the Ice Blended White Chocolate Buzz coffee.

One extended weekend in SD and I'm hooked on Better Buzz. I did a tour and hit up 3 locations, this one may have been my favorite... Great vibes with amazing decor, plus equipped with a swing out front and cornhole? Yes please! I never knew that I needed these at a coffee shop until now. Columbian pour over was the perfect way to start the day. My only regret was not getting thw avocado toast.. until next time.

Very rude staff, food was very poorly prepared and not done right. I have always had great experiences at better buzz but this location was horrible.

Another great artisanal roastery coffee shop in San Diego. Increidble selection of coffees as well as cold brew. Some interesting signature coffees however for the purists a cortado will do. It was absolutely delicious. Definitely heading there again!
