Surprisingly good coffee! First time here and I will definitely come back! The coffee shop is modern and new. They have a Variety of pastries and they even make a few food items in the back. The building is warm and inviting it is a little hard to see the sign outside that Google maps got me right there
Went on a busy Sunday morning. I thought that the music was way too loud here but maybe it's to drown out the voices of all of the people, as it was pretty busy. Parking can be difficult.
The service is quick but they ran out of plates for dine-in pastries, which is okay, but wish they just had more dishes to match the dine-in vibes of getting a pastry with coffee. Maybe I'm a little picky about that but I felt it was important if you're going to spend $5+ for a pastry at a cafe, you want it presented well. Don't get me wrong, they serve pastries from Faria and those are the best pastries to go with coffee, so nothing wrong with the quality of the food itself.
I felt like the seasonal drink I got was overly salty even after melting the marshmallow into the coffee, and the plain latte, the espresso leans more on the darker roast side. It wasn't burnt but I prefer something with more complexity(?) Maybe it was just what was on rotation since this was my first time coming here.
The milk art is really good and I think it is still well priced for a plain latte. Nice to have a drink served in a handmade cup too. Overall, I'm not dissatisfied but some things felt lacking from my usual cafe experience.
Discovered them through Faria and fell in love with their coffee. I was stoked they opened their own cafe. I like to rotate my coffee beans at home, but always keep a bag from Mast. Their beans have strong and beautiful flavor notes. When I stop by, I will usually grab a cappuccino and enjoy it outside if there's seating available. They always have provided top notch service and it seems like the staff genuinely enjoy being there which just adds to the great experience. Parking is a challenge at times but usually you can grab a spot on the street.
Three comments here: - 5 stars for matcha and my husband loves the coffee here. - 5 stars for pastries because anything from Faria bakery is bomb. - 2 stars for the breakfast sandwich which doesn't have the right mix of texture- the egg and bread is just soft on soft. Would not order this again.
Best coffee shop in Sacramento. Staff are always amazing and super chill. The vibe in the shop is perfect for hanging out with friends or getting some quick work done. Coffee and food tastes amazing.
They also have these awesome call pods in the back if you need somewhere quiet. I think they have a meeting room as well.
Nicely designed coffee shop right off of Broadway. Just opened 3 weeks ago. Good vibes, good people, and good coffee. Pastries by Faria! Update 09/2022 Been coming back a lot this past year. Service always great, fixed me up an Americano when drip wasnt hot enough for me. And had Radiohead on the background, always a plus!
This is the best cafe in Sacramento! The selection is great, food is deliciously made with care and all of the staff is knowledgeable and helpful if you have any questions. Amazing music selection and environment to meet up with a friend or read a book. My first recommendation for coffee in Sacramento
An amazing addition to the craft coffee scene in Sacramento! The location is absolutely lovely. It's on a small side street off the main road, so it's in a quieter location. Easy parking, (no meters) and a variety of seating indoor and outside. The espresso is on point and delicious no matter what drink I get. They have a limited but amazing breakfast and small bites options. I'm so proud of this shop, it's been years in the making and the Mast brand has definitely built up a trustworthy reputation over the last 9 years. Can't wait to come back 🖤🖤🖤
Soft opening this week, But HOT DAMN! We got some really tasty coffee. The Ch Ch Ch Chia was fantastic. The coffee shop Broadway has needed. Super cute inside too.
