Really liked this place. The coffee is really goodl, reasonably priced, & it's a cute little place. The baristas are also super nice & welcoming! Will come here again next time I'm downtown :)

Highly UNDER-rated, location and lack of parking make it tough to pull over. Amazing organic fair trade coffees...Their not stuffy about their knowledge either...Coffee for the rest of us!! No gimmicks no retro fitting employees and or college students taking up all the space. I guess the 50's look is at every other coffee shop in town..

Go here a lot for lunch. Their burritos are really good. Most of the staff is excellent but a few will make you not want to go back for a bit because of messed up drinks that kind of thing. Overall great shop.

I hesitate to recommend this coffee shop for fear you will all go there and eat all the pastries. They make an ecstatic eclair and a flaky pastry called a Kouign-amann which is like a thing designed personally for me - imagine a croissant, dusted with sugar, filled with custard, forced into a ramekin and then baked again. Mmm.
The coffee is very good too - they have three levels of roast, which for someone who intensely dislikes the carbonized bitter residue that most Americans think is good coffee, is perfect.
Friendly staff, Gorgeous pastries, good coffee.

Good drinks-coffee, tea, iced tea. Muffin & scone were both very dry & had little flavor. Very nice/helpful staff member on the early a.m. shift.

This is delicious coffee! Ranks right up there with places like Tupelo or Temple and likewise roasts their beans on site. Coffee Works offers one important difference... the pastries are heavenly! You can't go wrong meeting friends or colleagues here. Grab a dry cappuccino and a pear almond tart, so delicious! There's always street parking on 34th and the 33rd Street Bistro (see me review) is right across the street. Perfect start to Friday nights.

I wish Coffee Roasters had more experienced Baristas, it would make all the difference. I've tried several times to like that place but the drinks are not consistent and then I was served a moldy loaf bread. Such a great location and has all the potential just not great drinks or food.

Great service. Great coffee. Great food. 5 star all around for me

I had the quiche du jour, it was a ham Swiss quiche. I'm sorry to say it was overcooked. The crust was like sawdust, well the top was overly dark. It was edible, it wasn't enjoyable.
