Pause Coffee House

i had crepe with fresh strawberries inside, having nutella inside and on top, along with a generous coating of delicious powdered sugar. the whole thing is warm and perfect in every conceivable way. the hot chocolate was divine as well. sitting at a perfect lukewarm temperature, having a fresh layer of whole milk foam and powdered chocolate on top of the creamy deliciousness handmade by a very friendly lady. the atmosphere of the whole place fits my tastes perfectly. this is an amazing place to study or just chill. i have still yet to find a better cafe for studying.

Came in to try some drinks and food, and I got the iced chai latte ($5) and a chocolate croissant. The latte was super good and has a light but flavorful vanilla chai flavor and was slightly sweet. I think it's my favorite thus far. The chocolate croissant was huge and so shiny and flaky. I didn't ask but if there is an option to warm it up so the chocolate could melt, it would be beyond perfect. I also took a bite from the almond pastry (not sure what its called but had chopped almonds in a flat flaky bread) and I liked it more than the croissant surprisingly. Nice toasted almonds with vanilla taste. Can't wait to come back and try some more drinks and pastries.

The butterscotch latte is the ultimate sweet treat. My sisters and I love coming here and grabbing some pastries (they have some gluten free offerings as well), coffee and hanging out. The staff is very friendly as well. I forgot her name but there is a tall girl with long brown hair and she always makes our drinks SO well and is super sweet!! Over all, it’s my favorite place to stop either on my way to work or just as a treat. Also, get the danish or half almond croissant.. delish.

Pause coffee has great coffee and a great atmosphere. I got my my iced latte for free since they give out stars as rewards when checking in with your phone number so that’s a sweet bonus! Awesome place to just hangout or do school/work online.

We love Pause coffee for our weekend coffee stops! We’ve been coming here since they opened a few years ago, and continue to stop by weekly. Good coffee and even better environment!

Great place for some great coffee. Can’t go wrong here. Also a great place to pick up coffee beans too! Overall the best cafe in the Rocklin area.

My husband and I have gone here many times for breakfast; it us our favorite local coffee shop! Their cold brewed coffee is delicious (we add a little vanilla sweetener and some cream), and their bagel sandwiches are amazing! All fresh, delicious ingredients. It is also a nice atmosphere to relax and spend some time visiting with others.

Pause is a consistent and quality stop for me. Workers are friendly and nice to you, the coffee is quality and they offer pastries and food options which is a nice touch. The environment has a good vibe if you need to get work done or just want to hang out with a friend. Love Pause and will continue to support this business!

Our family absolutely LOVES Pause! The owner’s are the most kind & generous people & it reflects in their coffee shop! The cappuccino’s are amazing, the vibes are so welcoming, & the staff is always so kind! Tatiyana is one of our favorite friendly faces everytime we walk in! We will no longer drink Starbucks coffee & wish Pause had a drive through!!
