A coffee shop has three potential parts to make it - the food (coffee, pastries, etc.), the atmosphere (furniture, music...), and the people who serve the customers. This coffee shop has great food, as demonstrated through the almond milk cappuccino and egg and ham bagel. The look of the shop isn't of a modern, renovated Starbucks or hipster coffeeshop with the same new-old look that everyone seems to be after nowadays, but it has character and charm, like an old diner. You feel connected with this place when you talk to owner, Edwin. He is a friendly and straightforward guy who likes to talk to his customers and give them what they want. He doesn't fake smile at you with little knowledge of an oversized menu. There are a number of options here, but he lets the conversation guide you toward something comfortable, as we often seek, or something new when we are open to change and experimentation. There is more to this place that meets the eye so I invite others to come in, ask questions, and be open to experiencing what it has to offer.

The best coffee and baked good in all of roseville rocklin area. Not only is the food quality but it's all home made and the people inside are amazing. They always remember my name and my order. If you decide to go in (which you should) the muffins are beyond amazing!!! Thanks Edwin for creating this gem!!!

This place is a wonderful local gem. Due to COVID you order at a tent out front. The guy with the beard, assuming thats3Edwin, couldn't have been nicer. Pour your own hot drip coffee out front or he'll go in and make you a tea or espresso. I ordered a cafe au lait, poured a delicious medium blend for myself while Edwin steamed up some hot milk for my drink inside. They also just had turnovers and danishes come out of the oven so I picked up a peach turnover. Everything was beyond extraordinary. Please support this place during these hard times.

This place has been around since I was a child, and for good reason.
Friendly customer service, good breakfast from the bakery, great coffee roasted in house, and a calm and inviting atmosphere that welcomes the young, old, and furry (friendly dogs).
You can get your coffee in a mug that is supplied for you, or bring your own cup, save some plastic and make a step toward lowering your carbon footprint one cup of joe at a time.
There are board games, daily newspapers, and an outdoor patio for you to enjoy. You can buy your own freshly roasted beans to take home to brew. This isn’t a large chain like the drive thru coffee shops down the street, enjoy local and fresh made coffee and support small business.

Edwin is the best coffee roaster in California. The beans are roasted to perfection. Laid back and friendly atmosphere. The only place to go for anything coffee. Have been going there for about 15 years when he was the roaster and it was owned by someone else. Now he is in total control and it's better than ever.

My go-to coffee. Best tasting, Ed roasts his own. The baked goods are amazing. I recommend the caramel creme latte!

Love this place. Do yourself a favor and come support this local, family business. Quaint atmosphere with lots of customer service. Great coffee, with beans roasted on site, delicious quiches, (made by Mom), yummy goodies, smoothies and milk shakes made with real fruit. Your taste buds will thank you.

I've been there several times. Not sure they know what they are doing.
Furniture is falling apart.
Outside sitting is dirty.
Breakfast meals look old.
One area is self service but not really.
Maybe you order from the counter and maybe you get what you ordered. It's a guessing game.
Such a great location a real coffee shop would make a killing there.

Edwins makes the Best Espresso ever! Always friendly and inviting. Scones and quiches are so delicious. House roasted coffee beans are second to none.

I'm not a big coffee drinker but like to support the smaller local shops. Edwin's is one of the local one's. Coffee is not just a drink to them but a event. They know their coffee and take pride in know it and preparing the best it can be.
If you like local you will enjoy Edwin's
