I had the best experience here. Awesome coffee, cozy and beautiful space, super friendly people, both who work here and who come here. Breakfast options are very tasty and healthy as well!👌

So happy we found this cute coffee shop passing through Redding. It's worth the detour off the freeway. Tried the thick-sliced sourdough toast with house-made almond butter, local raw honey, & cinnamon. Holy smokes it was good. The perfect flavors mixed together with gooey almond butter running off. We also tried the protein bowl. We got it to-go and it came in a small compostable cup and at first I was disappointed since it was $11, but as soon as I took a bite, realized it was worth every penny. The soft-boiled egg with the avocado mixture and veggies and prosciutto was amazing. The baristas at the counter were very kind and friendly as well. People were sitting down inside, but some tables had X's taped over them. My americano was also fantastic and smooth!

$9.60 for a croissant and 12oz drip coffee. It took 15 min to get the coffee. NOPE. Good quality but still not worth it.

Great drinks and food, but we were disappointed when we were served our food and drinks, especially the double espresso, in to-go cups and plastic food containers. Didn't know we needed to specify that we were eating there. Usually it's assumed you are unless you ask for it to go (in most places). Lesson learned. At least we know how to order for next time.

Incredible handcrafted espresso from amazing baristas. The cold brew is delicious, must try. They do their own roasting and the attention to detail and quality are by far the best in Redding. Reminds me of some of the best coffee shops in Seattle and Portland.

My wife and I have 3 small children, love coffee and travel a lot. We had passed the Coffee Bar quite a few times during our time in Redding and finally decided to park and check it out. The moment we stepped in we were not recognized or welcomed in any way. We stood at the bar waiting to be recognized and order. The two gentlemen were too busy talking about their own lives to serve us. We then decided we would go to the restroom with our children, giving the two guys the benefit of the doubt. I've worked customer service a ton and value good service. And I always try to give second chances. We went to the bathroom and it was out of paper towels (it was mid-morning) and it was out of soap. At that point we were wondering if this coffee shop was JUST about coffee and not anything else. It had a cool looking decor but that was about it. We then went around the corner to be served again. We stared at the menu and were still not acknowledged. I then stepped up to the counter to really test the boundaries and still, neither of the two guys gave me even the slightest attention. They were facing in my direction still talking about their lives, doing nothing work related. We then decided to leave and were greatly disappointed. I'm sure this place has great coffee but I would much rather choose Starbucks over this place. And that is saying something. I recommend places a lot from the different places of traveled but not only will I not recommend this place but will actually bring it up to let others know NOT to go there. I like good coffee a lot. But not at the expense of horrible service. Coffee Bar, after being in customer service for 15 years, my advice to you is, serve more than just coffee. Serve your customers.

In my opinion this is Redding’s best coffee shop. The shop has a bright and welcoming atmosphere and always have a great music playing. I never end up wearing headphones when I work here because it’s so quality.

Their drip coffee is always top notch, their baristas make a mean oat milk latte, and the BTTRCRM treats are not to be missed. Make sure to grab a bag of Feast coffee for your home brews- it might very well be the best roaster in all of California.

Their food menu is also 👌🏻- the avocado toast with poached egg and the protein bowl is the perfect meal for your coffee date or heads down work session.

If you’re from out of town you should check out the boutique hotel offerings- it’ll make your stay in Redding a trip to remember!

Clean and bright even during renovations. The owners have some awesome and big plans for this place. The coffees are perfect and the service is excellent. Try the yogurt with fruit and granola! Best I've ever had!

Another coffee shop in Redding that feels like you're not in Redding. Foreign accents, young hipsters, clean cut looks. I can only assume a Bethel influence. Whatever the cause, I like it. Beyond the clientele, the place is well designed and decorated. The usual odds/ends for sale are unique and fresh. The most important thing, the coffee, is well balanced - strength, temperature, bitterness, etc. I like it. Now, if we could just convince an American coffee house to serve a latte in a proper glass, we'd have a perfect spot. But alas, the earthen mug without a handle was a letdown.
Overall, I will be back. For the coffee, and the people watching.

If you like coffee for coffee sakes--not syrupy flavors or ice cream frappes--this is one of the few places where you will get it. The espresso is not over roasted and each drink is individually prepared--or crafted might be a better description. If you want some giant sized beverage to last you several hours, go somewhere else. If you want a quality over quantity, try Coffee Bar.
