Caffè Pagato

This was my first time here.. I am giving it 5 stars but a few things..

The staff is very friendly. It was not busy when I went at 10am. Cold brew is good. I ordered a quiche.. 20 mins later I still didn’t have it so I had to remind the gal.. she apologized through it in the microwave and gave it to me not warm.. :/ I just ate it anyways. It was good but would of been better hot.. would give this another try

The staff was friendly and answered all of the questions that we had. The coffee was perfection! And the lemon bar was one of my favorites. The coffee shop is bright and welcoming with both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a great experience and I would definitely visit here again!

Caffe Pagato never disappoints. My wife and I have lived in Redding for 7 years and every time we rediscover this spot we remember what a hidden gem it is. The food is delicious, decently priced, and their seasonal drinks and soups are all excellent. The staff is friendly, and it's a great spot to grab breakfast, lunch, and work. One of our favorite things are the mugs from around the world you can choose from for your drip coffee. Definitely a local gem we halfway hope stays hidden!

Paid $8 to pour my own coffee out of a hotel dispenser and for a croissant cinnamon roll, thinking it was a real cinnamon roll. Not sure what this place is trying to be but it's not my cup of coffee. Cinnamon roll was decent but I'd still go anywhere else.

Great hot soup and sandwich on a cold day. The drip coffee was really good too. The service was quick and staff very friendly. I will definitely return.

Everyone was so friendly and so kind. I took the three-year-old I was babysitting to get a hot chocolate there but it got spilled and made a big mess. The manager came out and offered to make us another drink, free of charge, cleaned up our mess, and was just so hospitable. 5 stars for sure. She even offered my little girl cream with sprinkles she can put on the hot chocolate 😋 yum what a treat, other cafes didn't have any cream to offer us in the past. Beautiful place here!!! Made my day 😭I was so touched by how they handled our mistake.

I've only been a couple times, but I like Caffe Pagato's vibes. Not too busy, good music, tasty coffee, kind staff.
And someone's been saying the food is amazing, so I'll probably be back for that too. 🙂

This place is awesome. I can’t say enough…

My fiancée and I came here the morning after our engagement, the two gentlemen working were quick to provide excellent service and coffee on the house!

The name of the cafe means “paid coffee” in Italian, as in paying it forward/for the next persons. After enjoying this quiche, we just had to do the same…

Been loving this place for years. 100 times better than Starbucks. Coffee tastes like coffee. Not bitter. Friendly baristas.

I enjoyed my order. It had distinct notes, and good flavor. Location was a little difficult to access but no need to ding the review on that (I could always use a good walk). I plan to go here again for sure and I would definitely recommend to others. =)
