Koffi Rancho Mirage

Good: got a good quality 12oz. 4-shot latte and espresso shot on Saturday, March 10, espresso was tight. 7/10.

Bad: Ordered same thing on Sunday, March 11. Way too hot, shots overdrawn, astringent,, and milk scorched, 2/10.

Baristas need better training and consistency. Coffee selection for a roaster is odd: blended coffees, no single estate, roasting is light and dark (aka ashes). Coffee and espresso is better than chain coffee houses, but they have opportunity to be better.

My favorite locally owned coffee shop. There melted mocha is fabulous. Friendly staff and good food.

All though the drinks were delicious, the service was poor and the environment was horrible to be in. If you are a minority most likely you will experience racism. I have experienced it several times and I dont feel comfortable going anymore. Just a warning, I would recommend going to Palm Springs.

The coffee was a bit bitter for my taste. Have a few nice tables outside for sitting and sipping your drink.

Next time I'll go to Starbucks. To each their own, but in my opinion this place needs to step it up. No variety. And their employee had a terrible attitude. Thank goodness I had a gift card and didn't waste my cash. The pastries are super bland too.

I've been going to the Koffi on N Palm Canyon for years. Always great. Their frozen coffee drinks the best ever. I never do Starbucks cuz their coffee is so bitter and tasteless.

Kind of small but cozy. Thankfully, we found the one remaining table open, on a busy morning.
Please tell me this: why do all baristas think that they work in a back kitchen, where dishes are tossed in the bin with a crash, talking is loud, tools are banged about, and such? I get you can't quiet the milk steamer, but come on... Can you keep it down to a dull roar? We are sitting just feet from you.
I left after trying to write in my journal for about five minutes, to the quiet street!

Definitely worth the trip. Great variety of high quality, multi origin coffees. Skip the Starbucks and mixed espresso drinks and just enjoy the bean.

Very kind staff. I had been traveling all day and forgot to mention I wanted my drink, iced. They gladly made me a new one and gave me the hot one to "share with a friend." Will absolutely be back.

The coffee here is good and they have a decent selection of food items. They have free WiFi, but no outlets if you need to charge something. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.
