A great place to meet, hang out with your friends and catch up on life. They have spacious indoor sitting and out door patio for big group meetings.
Rosebud serves great coffees and teas. The owner Dan told me that he trains each barista to differentiate each types of coffee by smell. This results in fantastic coffee in each cup.
Not only coffee and teas are good here, the pastries are mesmerizing too. I loved their almond croissant where they added chocolate in the almond paste fillings resulting creamy and tasty croissant. They have a few of pastries on display which I don’t recognize. I guess they invented their own.
Besides coffee and pastries, Rosebud also has a microbrewery on site. But no beers served in the morning. So I didn’t have a chance to taste their beer. We shall come back in an after to taste their beer.
They do have plenty of parking in the back and on the street. It’s ideal for big group gathering.

Parking is decent, plenty of street parking.
The table I wanted to sit at was dirty so I asked for napkins but they went a step beyond that and cleaned/sanitized the table and chairs for me. I really appreciated that!! Great customer service!
Inside is half of a brewery and the other side is the coffee shop but you can sit anywhere.
I was trying to have a serious conversation but it was way too loud inside. It’s def not a quiet coffee shop.
The almond croissant was pretty good!

Came here the other day with a friend and enjoyed a little stay at Rosebud Coffee. My cappuccino was decent and my friend enjoyed her americano and pastry.
The space is open, bright, and has a down to earth atmosphere. Service was pretty friendly.

This is a fantastic coffee shop with friendly service and I love that they support homeless and at-risk youth. Their cappuccino and cinnamon roll were both delicious and they offer day old pastries at 50% off! Free parking lot in back.

I've walked by this place quite a bit recently and wanted to try it out since it seemed like a chill spot. It's half coffee shop, half brewery/bar food, so that's the vibe. Coffee stuff closes at 4 while the brewery stays open until 10, generally speaking, so keep that in mind (no cozy nighttime coffee, unfortunately).
The inside is roomy, open, and accommodating to a large number of guests, with picnic-style bench seating, larger bar tables, an actual bar, and some more intimate arrangements -- plenty of seating, hardly any outlets, so keep that in mind if you're coming here to work, as I was.
I ordered a black, iced cold brew coffee and it was $6.50 (!!), which is more than a bit pricey. It was very good, at least, but still, that's a lot. I can't speak for anything else on the menu but if a black coffee with nothing in it is that much, I'm curious to see how much literally anything else costs.
Wi-Fi passwords are located on receipts, supposedly to discourage people from sitting there all day who haven't purchased anything, which is fair. The internet was terrible while I was here, though, with constant ping spikes and full-on disconnects (on and off VPN), making it impossible to video call, and work. Maybe it was just me, maybe it was just that one day, maybe it was both, maybe it happens all of the time. No idea, but worth mentioning.
Service was great with the first person who helped me, who was seemingly excited to be there and enjoying her day. The second person who helped me, whom I asked where I could find the Wi-Fi password, peeked their eyes over their mask and gave me a smug look, literally saying nothing to me while silently handing me some random receipt. Again, maybe just the day, maybe something tough was on their mind outside of work, but either way, first impressions are impactful.
Overall, my experience was fine enough. I hesitate to try and work here again, but maybe I'll give it a shot when I don't have anything super important to do. They do serve food, wine, and beer here that I would also like to try, with prices that seem *slightly* more reasonable than their coffee.

It feels good to support something beyond just an actual business, Rosebud is the place. Came here after reading their story which was truly inspiring. Great coffee. Flat white was truly amazing! Pastries were delish too. A must visit!

They have all the serious coffee drinks: Cortado, pour over, milk alternatives, coffee tonic. They also have some snacks and non caffeinated options. I got a cortado, which comes with a side of sparkling water to cleanse your palette. I thought that was pretty neat. My friend got a espresso tonic. It comes with dry citrus peel which gives the drink a nice aroma. My friend really liked his drinks. They use reusable straw, but not the paper kind that's often times a little bit annoying to use, so that's also a big plus.
The shop is very spacious, well lit, and we'll ventilated with lots of seating for peaceful reading and working on laptop. There's ample parking spaces as well. Outside in the parking lot, there is a outdoor patio in case you want to get some sun while drinking your cup of joe.
Their mission states, "Rosebud traveled around LA, empowering homeless and transitional-aged youth as they practiced their newfound craft- serving an amazing cup of coffee." It's a coffee shop with a mission.

Excellent coffee and the space the cafe is located in is marvellous in its atmosphere and space. I will return again.

This place is no good!!!
1. The only good thing is the parking, there is a back lot.
2. THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK. When I told the cashier she tried helping me out by giving me different passwords to different networks, but still no luck. They mentioned this happens FREQUENTLY and the internet doesn't work sometimes. I guess I came on a day the internet wasn't working. So now I couldn't do my work, and had to trouble shoot for over ONE HOUR, with still no luck. Multiple people were having trouble with this as well.
3. The coffee is BLAND! $6.50 for the lavender latte that DOES NOT taste like lavender. $6.50 for the rosebud latte that TASTES BLAND. Not even coffee, just bland drinks.
4. There is NO latte art !! This place FALSEY advertises their coffee! Yelp demonstrates a beautiful latte art. Let me show you what they gave me ! Sometimes you want to drive out to a coffee shop because the latte art looks beautiful, but I am so upset they advertise this yet they give you a paper to-go cup with no art, even if you are dining in.
5. It's MUSTY! There is no AC running nor heater. Just sitting in a musty temperature room.
I will NEVER be returning to this establishment. Such a shame, because I had this place in mind for MONTHS when I moved to Pasadena, and when I finally get the chance to try it out, it GREATLY DISAPPOINTED. I recommend Intelligentsia Coffee on Colorado instead!!

Nice space physical space, but consistently terrible staff in 2022 and so far this year. Seemingly completely and totally uninterested in customer service and harder to stomach at nearly $5 for a cappuccino, very mediocre to terrible at brewing coffee. Really sad as this used to be my go to in the area for decent coffee and cheery service. Wasn’t perfect before but at least was kind and usually reliable. Tired of being disappointed so won’t be back for coffee. (Luckily the brewery the space is shared with is still quite good)
