Peet's Coffee

I've not been inclined to go to Peet's Coffee for a long time because of the location in a busy, hot parking lot. Furthermore it's next to a busy, loud street near a fire station. Despite all that they have excellent coffee and a very friendly staff. I wish it was in a more relaxing area.

The employee behind the counter was pleasant I ordered two items, of course coffee, cold brew, and peanut butter cookie. The coffee was great, however the cookie is not their thing..it tasted more like a hard sugar cookie. After one bite I decided to return it.

There was a long line as I waited, and there was only Two employees working, one taking customer's orders other making drinks, finally, I reached the front of the line, as I was getting ready to decided on what to get, this man out of no where began to place his order, I politely, said excuse me, as he finished his order, he looked at me as if I wasn't standing there, and I said the line is here..where a woman who was in line after me. He played DUMB.. as he looked at me, and at the employee. The employee played dumb as well, since he was the only one taking customer's order, and didn't even tell the man who cut to the front, to wait in line.
Then the man cut infront of the woman waiting to place her order after me!! Really...

After this experience, I will not come back here to spend my money, and I will go to STARBUCK for my coffee and pastries, which taste a lot better then what I had today!!

I love this Peet's, everyone is nice. My favorite drink is the green iced tea. The pastries are yummy too.

Big and comfortable patio outside if Peet's. The pasteries are great.

I ordered an iced house blend coffee, dark roast, it was very good compared to many other coffee houses, however personally I will stick with hot coffee. The service was good, the barista was friendly. Would come back again.

Love this location ! Friendly baristas. Great coffee; way better than Starbucks. Buy a pound of coffee and they give you a free small coffee. Easy free parking lot.

If my only option is Starbucks I'd rather not have any coffee. I prefer Peet's over Starbucks 1000 times!

Best tasting coffee in the local area, with friendly and helpful staff.

The location is very clean and I often see people in there with laptops or doing work while enjoying a nice brew or a pastry from the counter.

I used to be a total SB caramel macchiato junkie and recently came to find out that SB is an offshoot of Peet's. In fact, Peet's used to supply their coffee to SB. IMO, Peet's coffee is waaay better than SB - it's not bitter tasting and the caramel macchiato is at least 10X better !!
Peet's medium caramel macchiato tastes like it has an extra shot of really smooth espresso in it - you can really taste the coffee and the drink is not thick or syrupy. The hot cocoa is made with milk and cocoa and it's smooth - not liquidy or gritty.
Sorry SB but, Peet's is much better.

I came for breakfast and they had me waiting for my order over 15 min to later tell me they had run out of vegan burritos. The coffee was fine.
