Black Rock Coffee Bar

Good place, but it's a small shack that has a bit of a confusing drive thru since it requires a bit of maneuvering unless you come into the parking lot a specific way which can be trickier depending on what time you go since it can get crowded. The quality of the coffee leaves a lot to be desired. Tried quite a few flavors but they all just end up tasting like black coffee, and not even a good kind of black coffee. The red bull drinks are good however. Prices are a bit higher and quality doesn't match. The people working are always nice and answer questions about their flavors and what you might want.

Black Rock is our fave. I love the blended Mexican Mocha, add shot, no drizzle no whip. Perfection.

Good coffee, definitely better than Starbucks 🌟 . Easy location, especially if you're heading up to goat hill for a early morning round of golf. I don't know their hours, but for me it's been hit or miss driving in the area so you might want to check. Could just be me and weird timing. Still, I highly recommend it. Very close to highway 5 @ oceanside Blvd, and also close to goat hill Blvd on the way up. Also close to Kyoto market which is another area favorite you should check out while you're there.

I am all for great guest service and when the guy behind the counter on Monday may 11th around 830 asked if I would trust him with making a guava infusion I loved the peach guava combo he made me! He was awesome, also really love the infusions there with the organic energy drinks!

Black Rock coffee is strong. They're fast to get you your order, almost TOO fast and have messed up numerous orders. Sometimes the coffee taste funk. I don't go here anymore. If you do end up here just get an iced coffee the latte no good.

I'm here every morning and the service is outstanding. I love the coffee, too. This is a must for anyone searching for a good drive-thru coffee place and definitely much better than the large coffee giant lurking on every corner.

This coffee bar is nothing short of fantastic! I've been a devoted "regular" to the cute little coffee shop on Oceanside Blvd for some time now and they have yet to disappoint. Their prices are competitive yet their quality and coustomer service is unparalleled. Eva and Sam at Black Rock always greet me with a warm smile and leave me with a warm coffee to start the day. Definitely check it out. It's a drive-thu so you don't even have to leave your car!

Dont let the big line stop you from trying this Coffee Gold Mine, the girls that work there are super fast and consistent with the drinks it's the same everytime regardless of the business(and the 2 guys there dont even get me started complete ROCKSTARS🤘🏻)
I dont think they even know how to make a bad coffee.. yet to find out after well over 200 coffees under the belt

Great people. Great coffee with many options to choose from. Highly preferable over your regular, and static coffee shop selections. Give Black Rock a try, you will not be disappointed!

My wife just had a terrible experience with this place. She went to order a coffee with Oreos and the lady first was not friendly at all. She also messed up my wife's order, she gets annoyed that she has to remake it. Right before she leaves, she goes in a snobby tone, "just so you know next time make sure you tell them that you wanted extra Oreos" Just terrible service and will not be returning or recommending anyone to go to that trash hut.
