I ordered the seafood egg noodles, but what I got was the seafood ho fun. I was basically told I ordered this (when I didn't..) but whatever, no point in arguing so I ate it anyway.
Eh, the squid tasted fishy. Broth was okay, but nothing special.

This place is the best restaurant in the bay area..i eat here almost everyday, its like my kitchen ...i highly recommend this place to all my friends and families....the signature dish #21 is highly recommended....you can also add or other different meat to make more delicious. The guys there is very nice and helpful, like Steve and Daniel..next time when you're around in chinatown give this place a try.

you really can't go wrong with anything here but my personal favorite is
fresh beef ho fun, or if you wanna step it up get the beef stew!
the iced coffee with milk is fantastic
don't forget they're cash only.

I ordered #21 "chow jew ho fun" as it is pretty popular here. Slices of BBQ pork, ground pork, shrimp, pork ball, fish ball, and I substituted fish cake instead of kidneys. The broth was light and the noodles were of good soft but with a little al dente chew.
The BBQ pork, shrimp and fish cake were all that stood out in this otherwise modest dish. It don't blow me away, and I think the broth was what held it back.

I got flat rice noodles with shrimp in clear broth. It was ok and not that special, and for about $13 cost more than I expected for this kind of dining experience. The place was crowded enough with patrons so perhaps I ordered the wrong dish.

Food still good, but they let other people cut in front of you sometimes and still ask if you were in line first, even though they already let other people in first that got there after you.

Food was great, I don’t live in the city but I cannot get tired of the noodles there. Prices have gotten higher than normal but price over product, I don’t mind paying the price.

Hole in the wall place with tungkee type noodle soup. Very flavorful soup base with plenty of meats and seafood for a great price. They speak Viet and Canto.

Stopped in for lunch & had noodle soup with fish balls. Delicious and inexpensive. Service was great too, and food cane fast.

The ultimate neighborhood gem. So charming. Have a late weeknight dinner to really see them shine. French onion soup, frisée salad, mussels and fries ... healthy pours of wine.
Or a weekend brunch for omelettes and nicoise salad. Chez Maman can do no wrong!
