Orbit Coffee 7th Street

The place itself was cool and the people working their was cool too. If you go here though their coffee isn't the greatest but they do have many creative drinks. They serve their Vietnamese coffee for samples and is probably their best selling drink and rightfully so because it is actually delicious!

Super cute and friendly place! The owner greeted us in line with free donut and coffee samples and a nice chat! Limited but delicious menu! We tried the banh mi burrito (bomb) as well as the chicken sandwich (also super delicious)! Undoubtably the best coffee in Oakland! 🚀🌕

Not great to be honest. The store front is cute and the service was good, the sitting area is nice for the set up, but that's it.

The coffee was... Well it was basically 7/11 coffee. Maybe they just messed up that batch, but it was basically the water with coffee essence that you get at free places that are required to have coffee but don't really want to make it. So at $3 dollars for 16 ounces, please be half as good as Starbucks at least; don't be 7/11 level, that seems unfair.

The donut was fine, but that's it. I had what I think was a chocolate old fashioned, so it was a good and dense donut, right level of moisture. The chocolate coating was good, fudgey, mostly sweet, not Uber chocolatey though.

So the place was fine, but it wasn't great at all. Hopefully I just caught it at a bad time (if 2pm is a bad time).

Coffee here is excellent. The staff is super friendly and very helpful when deciding what drink you want. The Banh Mí burrito was really tasty and paired well with my Dark Matter drink. Will most definitely be coming back again to try more of the menu.

Free samples upon arriving. Great coffee and customer service is top notch. Employees are nice and personable. Good that they sell Vietnamese coffee by the half gallon & full gallon. Thanks Orbit for a good Sunday pick me up!

The beignet and the spicy chicken sandwich were pretty damn good and tasty. Especially for the reasonable prices.

The staff member at the window was also friendly and cool.

I will definitely be coming back for more goodies.

They have vietnamese iced coffee and amazing donuts, along with savory stuff like breakfast burritos and grilled cheese! It's very cute inside and whenever I come back I see something new and exciting on the menu. The owner, Paula, is really sweet and fun to talk to as well!!

I really appreciate the people who work here! We make a 45 minutes drive almost every weekend to get the Dark Matter. My husband is obsessed with this drink. Today we went and the card reader was having issues. I also didn’t have cash. The manager was really kind enough to give us the drink on them. Thank you!

Great customer service! Fun interior and yummy, cool, innoative coffee drinks

I live in the neighborhood, I love supporting local businesses and I hate to leave this review but I consider it an improvement opportunity. 8am in the morning I bought 3 not cheap glazed donuts and they were all doubtlessly stale. Some customers may be ok with that if warned and charged less but, as it is, I felt ripped off and won't be buying from them again.
