Located in the lobby of the WeWork office in Oakland’s uptown neighborhood, this Bicycle location is efficient and abbreviated yet doesn’t lack anything you’d expect from one of Oakland’s finest coffee shops. Quick service churns out a balanced latte in seconds (seriously, sometimes I’m surprised). Go here for a quick pick me up in the morning, but know they close at noon - don’t miss it.
This place is great. Heard about it from a coworker. Its actually kind of nice that its slightly hidden in the wework building, but that its open to the public :) The barista is super nice, and makes great lattes that look and taste amazing. Also heard he makes great chai lattes. This is my go to spot each morning when I work in the office!
Went on their opening day (4/8) and tried one of their pour-overs (Guatemala). I chose the Guatemala since it was their "special edition" coffees (or something along those lines) at that time. Now this may offend some people but after tasting this Guatemala pour-over, I think I liked it better than the Blue Bottle pour-overs that is across the street in the bank building. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is pretty much what you see in the pictures. It's essentially sharing the lobby of the building (I think it's a We-Work building) so they can't have that much space to begin with. There's some tall tables and seats spread around so it's pretty roomy, given the lease circumstances. I haven't tried the food yet but I'm only really interested in the coffee, which is spot on, to my taste.

The coffee is great. Hard to make a mokka that good. The place can use some help to provide a more cafe vibe if that is what they want!

Great coffee shop with good beans.
For bean orders, the schtick of this place is that they only deliver by bicycle and therefore only to places they can reach by bicycle.

The coffee was fine but the cup literally leaked everywhere. Also heavy gentrification vibes
