Ain't Normal Cafe

Faunus from Ain't Normal Cafe is fabulous. I was planning an event with a limited budget and delivers and this is just in 2 days notice.

He was responsive and even went to the location before hand to make sure everything works (electric power need where he need to set up, etc).

He told me that he will be in the building at 6am and he was even early. He have everything he needs and was very organized. He was very friendly to all and the quality of his coffee and tea are superb.

If you are looking for a coffee catering, Faunus is your man.

Specialty, craft, third, fourth or whatever wave - the name hardly matters - this place is seriously good.

Friendly informative staff, a great selection of high quality roasters coffee rotating through, and baristas capable of making coffee worth drinking.

Best coffee in the Bay Area.
Specifically the milk texture and execution by the baristas is the most consistent of any cafe. Unlike most places where there is dramatic variance in quality of execution of espresso drinks, somehow every person working here is able to make drinks at the highest quality that I have had over the past decade of drinking at high quality third wave cafes.

Terrific lattes. Silky smooth and made with fresh coffee beans. Highly recommended.

Love this spot. Unpretentious, Sunny outdoors and, of course, a great cappuccino. Concur with others about the chill barista vibe.

Really looking forward to trying out this cafe post covid. Recently during covid restrictions I received excellent/friendly customer service. Trialled a couple of espressos that were spot on. They also offer unique, locally roasted bagged coffee options, and have equipment ( la marzocco ) available for purchase.

Faunus and the team at Ain't Normal serve the best coffee in the bay area hands down. The espresso is always on point and the snacks are delish. My 3-year old can't get enough of the scones. The whole staff is super friendly and loves to chat about the unique coffee options, which they source from small scale roasters across the country and locally in the bay. I'm so happy to have Ain't Normal in my weekly routine (can't you tell!?). Love this place!

Perfect matcha and smart people behind the counter. Really appealing space, can’t wait to visit post Covid and sip inside.
