Even when only takeout was available during the pandemic, this is where we went to keep our sanity. Not only are the cappuccinos first-rate, the staff takes great pride in serving its loyal clientele, which is low-key and charming. Whether you want to read, chat with friends, or just chill, this is the place.

Mixed emotions for Kean for sure. Amazing coffee. Crowds can be a bit much, service is still fast and good regardless, but the clientele is so highly varied and I get a general vibe that feels a bit too much like what you'd expect of Newport Beach - but then there are some rad diehard locals/regulars. I guess depends on the day or time of day too? Great coffee though!

I am fortunate. I live directly halfway between the Newport Beach location and the Tustin location. However there is little to differentiate the two, fast friendly service and a high-quality product. If you’re looking for a cup of coffee you should not expect much more than that. I am a fan.

Kean is always a good coffee experience. They don't charge the hipster premium for good coffee, which is hard to find in the Newport/Mesa area. Staff is always friendly and quick. They have a great selection of coffee by the pound that they roast in house. Definitely an awesome local spot!

This is the best coffee shop in orange county and has been for some time. Everything is delicious, the staff is great and the coffee is STRONG. Keep up the great work!

Nice coffee shop with a bunch of outdoor seating. It can be hard to get a table during popular times. I got cold brew, it was very smooth and rich. The baristas were all very friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. The patio is nice and spread out, metal chairs and tables with umbrellas. The baristas brought drinks out for guests which i thought was nice.

Orange mocha and lavender steamers were fantastic. The order was mixed up and the baristas fixed it no problem for us with new drinks although not necessary.

Very cheery and welcoming. Great options for gluten friendly and various alternatives. Great way to start the day!

A great coffee shop with both the ambiance you are looking for AND great coffee! Great outdoor seating in the shade where you (and your dog) can hang out.

Personally, I love the lattes, which you can have flavored and don’t end up too sweet.

We will drive from Riverside for a great cup of coffee, whole beans, and a magnificent experience with the team and coffee houses put together by Martin Dietrich and his staff.

Highly recommend visiting their Newport Beach and Tustin locations, depending where in Orange County you find yourself in.
