I had an amazing Heartwood Bowl with quinoa, avocado, smoked salmon, kimchi, greens, etc. The sesame dressing was just the right flavor and not too heavy for this bowl's flavor finish. We also got the hot ginger turmeric toddy...which could have used a bit more ginger and turmeric for me, but warmed me nonetheless.

Pricey toast that takes 20 minutes to get. I love their value of wholesome good food, and I am willing to pay extra for that. But $10 for toast and $8 for a cup of miso is expensive. Everything ordered for our group was extra salty; miso, Cali bowl and salt on the toast. Maybe the cook was getting sick and couldn’t taste anything. If food wasn’t so salty and faster service I would give them a 4 stars and be okay with the price. Maybe an usual day with the chef.

Their chicken soup is my comfort food. Brings me back to my childhood! This is something that I'd love to regularly eat!

I had the best avocado toast I've ever had today (AvoEgg) and my friend enjoyed her ricotta berry toast. I also ordered the bahn mi bowl to save for later which I'm eating right now and it's sooooo good. Light and healthy and full of flavor. I wish I had been going to this place for longer because I'm moving soon.

10 minutes to order and then 20 minutes to get served. We are talking for toast and soup. The staff was friendly but with sloth-like speed. As to the food? The bread, which eventually turns into toast, was an 8 but would have been a 10 if someone decided not to put SALT on it. I have never been eating bread and thought “this needs more salt.” But it’s not just the bread they salt, it seemed to be the main ingredient in the miso soup, in the salad dressing and on the toast. I had to force myself to finish the soup, even though the presentation and other non-salt ingredients were fresh and delicious.

This place is great they have amazing avocado toast with salmon and eggs it's only open for breakfast and lunch but the atmosphere is casual the artwork is nice and the people that work there are friendly. There's usually a water bowl for my dog outside which is nice and there's outside seating if you're Afraid of getting the flu.

Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Delicious food—moderately priced. We had the heartwood bowl, and plan on coming back to eventually try every item on the menu!

I’ve been wanting to visit this place for a while and finally I did it.
It was a good experience- good portions of good food at reasonable prices. Healthy homemade food with vegan and vegetarian options and interesting seasonal menu.
The place it’s big enough and staff was friendly.
I definitely will be back!

Best latte I’ve had while in Cali.
Everything we ordered was fresh flavorful and perfectly prepared. Perfect food. Fresh grain and veg bowls, soups and avocado toast all top notch. The sauces for bowls are great. I had avocado toast it was beautiful.Priced well. Kid friendly location. It’s quite noisy inside with high ceilings but from people talking, and many multi seat tables with one person at them, so I could see where one might need to just join a table ( hi!) or maybe not get a seat if busy. We had no trouble at 2 pm on a Wednesday.

Always delicious, fresh, organic and healthy eats here. This is the zucchini noodles bowl with chicken added. Yum!
