Hands down the best coffee and espresso in calaveras. These guys have so much technical knowledge of their trade, it is fascinating to hear how much goes into a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. Espresso has the best flavor profile I’ve ever tasted. Staff is excellent and knowledgeable. A must visit destination

First time here. I love strong coffee and ths hit the mark! I ordered the "Pooh Bear", it has espresso, milk, honey, and cinnamon. It was very good! Iced mocha was also great. Very comfortable atmosphere, nice large patio, plenty of seating. Employees were very welcoming and friendly. Definitely will visit again when back in Murphys!

Great coffee roaster. We buy our beans here regularly. Also like the coffee they brew. And everybody is super friendly. Can’t wait for COVID to be over, so I can sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee in the cafe.

This is probably the best coffee house in California. Utterly amazing and delicious coffees. I cant believe there aren't more of these around. Excellent service, excellent location, great selection. I dont think I'll ever find a better cup of coffee honestly. The people here are all friendly. I highly recommend this establishment for all your coffee needs. Definitely stop by if you're ever in the area.

That was a great latte. I had a blended, hazelnut latte that still tasted of coffee, not like the green mermaid and her cups of liquified candy bars. If you are a Peet's or Philz kind of coffee drinker, this place should get your consideration.

I'm here 2 or 3 times a week & they never disappoint whether it's buying a pound for home or ordering a cup when ya gotta have it now. The Murphys blend is excellent but whatever they do to their Guatemalan... Let's just say I'm hooked. Always friendly & great service.

Gold Country Roasters is the best! I have been buying, drinking, and enjoying their bird friendly, superbly roasted, coffee for a couple of years now. I always bring a pound or two to give my hosts when I'm traveling. It makes an excellent gift from California and everyone I have given their beans to loves them. The thing about Gold Country that has impressed me the most is their attention to detail and their unparalleled customer service.
